Pollen is asking for your help. We’ve been through hard times, and we’re currently in one of our hardest. Read this letter from @jeromethink to learn more, and to help us raise $50,000 to bridge this gap.

Working at @PollenMidwest over the last six years has made me a better human at work, in my friendships and in my family. Over the last few weeks, I have been thinking about how many other people can say the same. If that's you, please read our update below:

Good morning! Let’s stop asking for cheaper or free design because it’s a good cause/for racial justice.
Paying BIPOC artists what they’re worth is part of racial justice.

I need your help getting the word out: do you know any reserve teachers that could substitute for my husband (a 7th grade MPLS teacher) so that he can parental leave when our 3rd baby comes in April?
MPS can’t find a substitute and have asked us to reach out to our networks...

This story shook me to my core. The honesty, vulnerability, the raw vision and pain. @CMiriam, you are a treasure for our MSP storytelling community.
If you care about the importance of narrative justice, this journey is a must-read. Support @theuptake.
.@CMiriam went from sobbing on the steps of @StKate's chapel to leading the very organization that mistreated her to a more equitable and community-centered future. But it wasn't easy (it never is). Read Cirien's story: bit.ly/3sITNeC

"We guessed that most of the authors would be white, but we were shocked by the extent of the inequality once we analyzed the data. Of the 7,124 books for which we identified the author’s race, 95 percent were written by white people."

If riots and unrest are symptoms of social illness, it’s one for which we still need a cure. To T Williams, the remedy is partly personal: “Changed individuals will go into their different groups and begin to make a difference,” he says. We should listen. bit.ly/2IQadyY

I want to be financially responsible enough to buy one of @cloudcarvings paintings one day. Happy to see her work getting the respect it deserves.
Thank you to @RachelCharleneL for finding my paintings worthy of highlighting in @BitchMedia (wow). I am one of your biggest fans, so this means the world to me.
