Uh oh. “To keep the conference in Toronto, Collision has sought a deal worth an amount similar to what Collision’s parent company Web Summit receives from the Portuguese government to host its events in Lisbon, worth 11 million euros per year ($16 million CAD).”
Collision, a giant convention for startups and tech companies held in Toronto with the help of very large amounts of public money, has barred The Logic from covering it.
