Some wins on the books last night. (Long post incoming) I wanted to use this post to be transparent about where things currently stand with DFS. Across both sites, I'm down approximately $6,500 in NFL/NBA DFS this season. That's a smaller percentage of my overall bankroll, but it's a good reminder of why bankroll management and mental fortitude are so important in a game with this much variance. This stretch has brought my tracked DFS profit since starting the Discord two years ago down to approximately +$21,000. That number only includes the one lineup per slate I post and doesn't account for previous seasons when my ROI was considerably higher with a less sharp overall field. The long-term picture always needs to stay at the forefront during inevitable downswings. That said, a stretch this rough does weigh on you, especially knowing not every member has been around for the previous winnings. Without exaggeration, it's hard to imagine anyone having worse DFS luck over the last month. Injuries, ejections, foul trouble, and an Oubre late scratch that killed what was shaping up to be a great night last night. Unfortunately, that's how the DFS gods have treated the start of seasons lately. All I can do is take accountability for the results, trust the process, and focus on the next slate. We've seen time and time again how quickly things can turn around. It only takes one. At the end of the day, there is a reason why most providers do not track every single lineup or bet they post. Transparency is always most important, and the results need to be better. They can't cheat me forever.
