Our recent Robinhood Chain spotlight introduced us to some exciting projects, and one that's been getting plenty of community support is @internet_monkes by @gmhunterart! 🐒
Internet Monkes is a collection of 5,000 pixel-art NFTs on Robinhood Chain, combining nostalgic internet culture with an interactive collecting experience.
At the heart of the project is MONKE Tech, a system where collectors can put their NFTs to work, earn BANANA, and redeem rewards through the Internet Jungle.
Here's what makes the ecosystem interesting:
🐒 5,000 unique Monkes featuring 24×24 pixel artwork
🍌 MONKE Tech lets holders earn BANANA, an in-game currency rather than a tradable token
🌴 The Internet Jungle features 1,200 Monkes reserved for collectors to discover and redeem
🏆 Collector-exclusive raffles and rewards, including rare Monkes
🔍 Transparent, independently verifiable raffle results, giving collectors a way to audit how winners are selected
The team has also been building out its Gallery and other collecting experiences, creating more ways for holders to engage with their NFTs.
We love seeing projects experiment with NFT utility and community-driven collecting!

I’ve been digging into the Robinhood Chain data, and that’s the “diamond hands” figure that is AWESOME for Monkes!
Alongside it:
274.28 ETH in total trading volume.
853 unique holder wallets.
Just 229 listed - 4.6% of the collection.
5,000 Monkes with plenty of pixel personality.
Why do diamond hands matter?
Collectors who stay involved give a community time to develop. Familiar faces, shared stories, people showing off their favourites and supporting what comes next. That continuity is a big part of what makes collecting enjoyable.
Choosing to hold rather than resell can also keep supply off the market. When that comes alongside genuine participation, it gives a project something valuable to build on.
I’m bullish on collectors forming connections with the pieces they own with their Monkes, and I see this everyday in the GC and TL.

Halsema zit gewoon keihard te liegen bij @pauwendewit Ze zegt dat de meneer met fck hamas bord op dezelfde manier is aangesproken als het tuig met de support Hamas banner, dat ze dat liever niet zien en of ze het willen weghalen, en de meneer gaf er gehoor aan. Neeeeeee, mevrouw Halsema. De man met fck hamas bord kreeg te horen bord weg of jij weg. Hallo @Politie, @POL_Amsterdam Is deze stront Syriër al uit zijn huis getrokken door jullie en op het vliegtuig gezet naar Syrië? In een live vanuit AMSTERDAM fantaseert hij openlijk over het verkrachten en afslachten van Joden wereldwijd, het beroven van een bank in Nederland voor 200 miljoen om daarvan kalasjnikovs en raketten te kopen in Syrie en met een team naar Israël te gaan om daar Joden 'af te schieten'.
3 jaar na 7 oktober, en ons land herbergt steeds meer van dit soort radicale beesten. Het is wachten op een 7 oktober in Nederland.
Dan sla je de plank toch wel mis en verlies je al je geloofwaardigheid. Tijd dat subsidie kranen naar dit soort organisaties volledig dichtgedraaid worden.
