After 9/11 I dropped out of college and joined the Marine Corps, volunteering for the infantry. I knew that “radical Islam” was responsible for the attack, and I wanted to have a rifle in my hand to go after those who were responsible for and in league with those who attacked us. Obviously in hindsight, our missions in Iraq and Afghanistan were poorly executed with no achievable objective ever clearly articulated, devolving into nonsensical nation building exercises. In the 25 years since, all of my experiences, including multiple deployments, and decades of research, have led me to a more important realization… It wasn’t “radical Islam” that attacked the United States, it was just Islam. And more importantly, that virtually no society that has seen a large influx of Islam has remained intact, and otherwise survived it. Islam is the problem, and I realize how uncomfortable it is for Americans to speak in absolutes, and that there may be outliers, but at large scale, Islam has never resulted in a society that embraces and appreciates human liberty. In the wild Islam at scale destroys liberty, it doesn’t foster and build it. Islam is a political ideology doctrinally dedicated to the conquering and subjugation of all non-Muslims. Radical Islam isn’t a national security threat to the United States, Islam is, and people need to learn to be comfortable saying that, because if enough don’t, our children and grandchildren will not inherit liberty, they will inherit Islamic theocracy.

We built Iran's entire oil industry in the 1960's for the Persian King to help Iran rise up from extreme poverty. US never did get our investment back because Khomenini took over in 1979 and stole it all along with attacking Americans ... Iran hostage Crisis, etc. I think we should reimburse ourselves by taking Iran's oil & Kharg Island. No other country (except Israel) spent massive $$$$ military expense over the past 40 years fighting off Iran sponsored terrorist groups all over the world. All other countries sat on their asses & expected US to remove the threat. Take Kharg Island & Iran's oil + oil sale revenue until our US Natl Debt... $40 Trillion is paid off. Much of our spending goes to maintaining are military superpower to protect the world.

The pro-datacenter pushers say we’re “in a race with China.” The United States already has 13 times as many listed data centers as they do — 4,767 to 376. China has four times our population. On a per-person basis that is about 50 times as many sites. We're so far ahead we can't even see China in the rearview mirror. And still they want more. What is the reality of the situation? They need these data centers to process all the data coming in from the surveillance state/digital prison they are setting up all around us. Flock cameras everywhere, drones 24/7, gait analysis, facial recognition, social media monitoring, digital id processing, pre-crime calculation crunching, and much, much more. This is about control and power, and they want us to pay for the infrastructure that will enslave us.
