I’ve been working on solving an annoyance of my own: so many applications are email-centric.
Testing a new customer flow in your app? Need an email.
Want to subscribe to newsletter updates? Your email inbox is polluted.
Don’t want your agent to have full access to your email? Me neither.
Enter aktmail — give your agent inboxes for everything. Available in a private beta now.

“Oh so you didn’t build it, the computer did”
tried @GoEntire but using it directly doesn't work well with amp, and using it as a mirror blocks pushes to main. will revisit in a few months.

Day 25/
We are doubling all usage limits for all Pro 100/200/500 tiers and Business Premium, effective today.
We heard your kind feedback and won’t be reducing usage limits for Pro 200, so your Work and Codex usage will stay the same. We’re also going to continue offering extended limits for dots for now, and usage of your dot will still continue to be separate from your default usage.
And we'll of course also keep shipping better models and other efficiency improvements that increase your effective usage over time.

One of Amp’s principles: do what gives you energy.
“It sounds like super woo-woo, but if something gives you energy, you’re going to do it way better.” — @sqs
21 people, a single meeting a week, no quarterly goals, no pull requests, no mandatory code review, no titles (except one dictator), a hundred releases a day, bugs fixed in minutes, famous for killing features.
@sqs and @thorstenball on how the Amp team works:
Dude when are you folks going to stop renaming shit
The Microsoft Copilot Harness

Just now I was typing a message to post here on X and I swear an entire cartoon arm, hand, and finger came out of NOWHERE as I stopped to think of my next word, and POKED where I stopped.
Or, I’m hallucinating.

Siri is still bad, like really really bad. I opened an email with my Uber Eats confirmation, there was a live activity on the screen with progress, and I pulled down and asked Siri "what did I order for lunch?" And it thought for like 2 minutes and then said it doesn't know. 🤦♂️
Okay so the harness and models are clearly bad. Well, then next I opened up the Siri GUI app on macOS and HOLY. It's the worst looking, beginner, basic bitch app I've ever seen. Did someone spend more than 5 minutes on this?
Whoever worked on this app along with the full chain of people who checked off on this needs to be terminated immediately. This is 0/10 terrible software, so embarrassed for Apple to ship this.

I'm a big fan of running a lean business but, even when we were at $2,000 MRR, we still paid for managed services because we wanted 100% of our focus to be on our product. I'd do the same thing if I was starting today. Protect your mental bandwidth and focus on what matters.
