2002: Ilhan Omar marries husband one in a mosque. They have two kids in that marriage. They "split" in 2008.
2009: she legally marries husband two in a Christian church. No mosque would do it because apparently the muslim community knew him as her brother.
While married to him, she has her third child with husband one and files joint tax returns with husband one in 2014 and 2015.
A former friend says she told the community she needed papers so her brother could go to school.
2017: she divorces the husband/brother and remarries husband one a month later.

NEW: I showed up unannounced at the immigration detention facility at SFO yesterday. I was concerned by reports of green card holders being detained for days, including a 67-year-old diabetic held for eight days without adequate medical care.
When the Trump Administration uses our tax dollars to lock people up, we deserve to know what’s happening inside.
I will always demand answers to ensure that people being held in detention are treated with dignity and provided access to basic needs and their lawyers.

A caseworker found 200 kids sent to the same address. A container park. No homes. She called the anti-trafficking hotline. She was fired the next day.
Asked on camera: was Becerra aware?
“Yes. He was aware.”
He told staff the placements weren’t moving like Henry Ford’s assembly line. Speed over safety. Then he told Congress he had “no idea.”
A fifteen-year-old who lived it is talking.
California should be listening now but more importantly voting to save the children.
