Today, @Teknium introduced another plugin - Meshy - which is fully integrated into the Hermes agent:
▸ Text/image → complete 3D model
▸ Texturing, rigging, and animation
▸ Gallery + a rotatable viewing mode
▸ Export for games
Check out the new official @MeshyAI plugin for Hermes Agent!
Make any 3D model you want, from character to dragon to armor for your games to figurines and practical utilities to 3D print - fully integrated to the Desktop app with rendered models and animations, a gallery of everything you created, and 360 degree videos of everything you create sent to messenger platforms if not on the Desktop app!

the rough mesh + reference image workflow is what interests me here
@themahis shows where Hi3D could fit: keep the broad shape, then refine the geometry for details that need to survive beyond a texture map
Zoom in on those tiny 3D details. That's where @Hi3D_AI gets interesting
Been exploring their tech and there's a lot going on under the hood
Hi3D V3.0 supports 2048³ geometry resolution and up to 8K textures, targeting fine engravings, sharp edges, scales, and complex surface details
The really interesting part for 3D artists is their newly released Hi3D V1.0
It takes a rough mesh + reference image and refines the geometry through 3 stages: 512³ → 1024³ → 1536³
The inference code and model weights are now public under their own license
Pretty useful direction for anyone working on detailed 3D assets, collectibles, or 3D printing
Made a little flying Tesla concept for this showcase :)
a Codex reset announcement and someone immediately spends 20 minutes making browser GTA with Hermes Agent
i respect this approach to resource allocation
what’s taking up space in your Hermes Agent folder?
Hermes Footprint by @BkashJosi adds a visual disk map to Hermes Desktop, with Git details and a keep or trash review for generated files
see what your bots left behind before deleting anything👀
Hermes Agent gets Camofox: an official Nous Research plugin with a local Firefox fork, fingerprint spoofing and saved logins per Hermes profile. it runs in its own browser, leaving yours free
I can't believe this is free. 🦊
Hermes just shipped its own browser that doesn't look like a bot.
It's called Camofox, an official Nous Research plugin, and it runs on your own machine.
▸ Fingerprint spoofing built in, on a Firefox fork
▸ Shows up as everyday Firefox, not a headless bot
▸ Its own browser in the background, so yours stays free
▸ Search, click, type, scroll and read pages
▸ Keeps your logins, one profile per Hermes profile
▸ No cloud browser, it all runs locally
▸ Already using Camofox? Nothing changes
Your machine. Your logins. Hermes in disguise.
my first stop in @witcheer’s Hermes Agent video map would be real setups and use cases. i want to see what people actually built and which parts of their work they gave to the agent
the clicks are the instructions
@HermesWatcher shared Nous Research’s browser recorder. i like this teaching method: demonstrate the task, then use /learn to turn the recording into a reusable Hermes skill
Okay, this is insane.
Show Hermes how to do something once. It does it from then on.
hermes record is a new Hermes Labs plugin from Nous Research that turns a browser task you do yourself into a reusable skill.
▸ Records your clicks, field values and page changes
▸ /learn turns the recording into a skill
▸ Hermes replays it with its own browser tools, with new details each time
▸ Passwords, one-time codes and card numbers are masked and never saved
▸ Recordings stay on your machine until you run /learn
What you can do with it:
▸ Reorder supplies from a vendor portal without touching the form again
▸ Log into a dashboard and check an order's status
▸ Knock out the same weekly form, like a timesheet or expense report, with one message
Teach it by doing instead of writing a prompt.
Repo in the first reply. 🔥
330 devices for Hermes Agent, in a catalog
@Teknium's Hermes Workshop lets you search hardware, filter by protocol, and see how each device connects
from voice boards to smart home gear, with integration notes and project ideas for the next build
Hermes Agent can turn a sketch into a 3D model
@MeshyAI is now available as an official plugin: generate from text or images, add textures, rig characters and animate them
view models in Hermes Desktop and export
requires a Meshy API key and credits
672 merged PRs, and my first question is still "what should i actually try?"
@BkashJosi answers it with three commands. more release recaps should get that specific
672 PRs Merged Into Hermes Agent Last Week. I Turned Each One Into A Dot. 🔥
Hermes ships faster than anyone can read. Nobody reads 672 PRs before running hermes update.
So here's Hermes This Week №01 (Oct 15–21). Every dot in the video is one merged PR from GitHub.
▸ 672 merged PRs, 3 releases, 180 people
▸ Plugins took the most work: 251 PRs
▸ teknium1 authored 233. 179 other people authored the other 439
▸ Two releases in one day: v0.22.3 rolled up about 620 PRs, v0.22.4 followed 6.5 hours later
Worth trying this week:
▸ hermes update
▸ hermes plugins update (new in v0.22.3)
▸ hermes import-agent
Counts come from the GitHub API and the v0.22.3 and v0.22.4 release notes. How I counted is in the first reply.
№02 lands next week 📊
Hermes Agent helped build panic buttons for an 89-year-old grandfather
i made a short video tour of four community stories: home safety, morning ETF reports, a Supabase CRM and a Honcho memory UI
each story is available on the website
@NousResearch @Teknium
the country dossier is where i'd start. pick a place, inspect the incidents, then ask Hermes for a sitrep
@adolandev built the kind of plugin that makes me want to keep Hermes Desktop open alongside the news
Hermes Agent, but make it an OSINT situation room.
Earthquakes, disasters, military aircraft, satellites and breaking incidents on one live 3D globe. Click any country for a dossier. Hit "Brief me" and Hermes writes the sitrep itself.
All inside @NousResearch Hermes Desktop.
i want Hermes Agent to find the libraries i don't even know how to search for
@Teknium gave it one dithering library and got a page of obscure visual demos in 20 minutes
Someone showed me this new JS Library for dithering visualizations so I gave it to Hermes Agent, said make me a webpage full of demos for all the lesser known cool styles and components libraries out there.
In 20 minutes it did, and there's some amazing stuff it found. This webgl fluid library is so sick.
Check it out here: webdev.teknium.io/
my next experiment with Hermes will be a tiny 3D game scene.
Meshy can handle the props, textures and rigging, with models i can rotate in chat before exporting. curious how far one visual brief can carry a whole scene
Most heavy Hermes users are sitting on a bloated state.db.Two commands fix it without data loss:
▸ hermes sessions optimize
▸ hermes sessions optimize-storage
@tonbistudio shows exactly how much space you get back.
How much can two quick CLI commands reduce the size of my 1 GB state.db?
If you're a heavy Hermes Agent user, there are two commands to keep in mind to shrink the size of your database file without losing any data:
hermes sessions optimize
hermes sessions optimize-storage
I made a quick demo breaking down these commands and showing how that can save you disk space
Try it out!
750 plugins🔥🔥🔥
This is no longer a catalog - it’s an app store for agents. Memory, voice, messaging, browsing, all community-built.
Which plugin would you test out right now?
one request: make a game
Hermes Agent created sprites, sound, music and 3D assets, built a playable Godot game, then played it and caught a crash
@DecruxR’s setup: 9 tools, 10 skills, zero changes to the core
