⚠️ In 4 days, $XLM validators will vote to bring Bell, the next Stellar (@stellarorg) upgrade, to testnet. The vote opens November 3 at 17:00 UTC. Mainnet validators follow on November 23. Each upgrade lands if its vote passes. Bell, Protocol 30, packs three changes: muxed contract addresses so one smart contract can serve many customers, quantum-safe signature verification inside smart contracts, and millisecond ledger timing. That quantum step uses ML-DSA, the standard already in OpenSSL and AWS key management.

The cut is built into the network's code. Kaspa lowers the mining reward every month by the same ratio. Twelve steps halve it over a year, so miners earn less new KAS each month and daily issuance shrinks again. About 96.8% of the 28.7 billion KAS cap is already in circulation. These steps keep the last slice flowing out slowly.

🔴 BIG: DTCC just launched its Tokenization Service on Canton. The service mints tokenized versions of stocks, ETFs and U.S. Treasuries held at DTC. Investors can switch between the traditional and tokenized forms and send them to a digital wallet in minutes. DTC holds more than $114 trillion in assets. Twenty major firms are already signed up, including J.P. Morgan, Citi, Morgan Stanley, Fidelity and BNP Paribas.
