♦️ TODAY IS ELECTION DAY! ♦️
We have done everything humanly possible throughout the 2026 Local Government Elections Campaign. We have taken our message to every corner, engaged communities and mobilised our people.
Today, the decision rests in the hands of the voters.
All eligible South Africans, young and old, must go out and cast their votes for the EFF.

Comrades and friends, we did not only come to our people to tell them what is wrong, we came to tell them that there’s an alternative, and that alternative is the EFF.

Floyd wanted a toilet tender in the City of Ekurhuleni, but we refused because we are not a corrupt organisation. We want to improve the lives of our people by installing proper flushing toilets.

Comrades, the President was intentional when he said we need to ignore the drug addict and woman abuser, Tumiso Masha.
These people are trying to distract and defocus us away from the campaign.
I want to remind you once again, comrades: LET US STAY FOCUSED! Elections are fast approaching, and our priority from now onwards is to push even harder our mayoral and ward candidates.
Anyone trying to distract you, tell them you will be able respond on the 5th of November. We are too busy!
For now, our eyes are on the prize. Let us mobilise, campaign, and deliver victory for the EFF! ✊🏾❤️🖤💚🔥

We must insource all security guards and cleaners to work directly for the Mbombela Local Municipality, ensuring that they receive fair treatment, job security, and the benefits they deserve as municipal employees.

Of the 868 626 applicants who have applied for NSFAS Funding to date, 616 558 (70.98%) are female and 252 068 (29.02%) are male.
The proportion of male applicants is worryingly low. We don’t want to speculate about the reasons without understanding the factors behind this gap. It deserves serious investigation and an informed response.
Equally concerning is that only 68 244 applications are for TVET Colleges, compared with 800 382 for Universities.
More needs to be done to educate our youth about Post-School Education and Training (PSET) and the different opportunities available.
The closing date is 31 October 2026.
Let us encourage everyone who intends to study at a University or a TVET College, to APPLY NOW, and not leave it until the last day!
