Upstream is now the fastest Git forge.
We've built our own Git engine, Upstream Rapid. On Entire’s own benchmark it does 444 pushes a second, ahead of Entire (418), Cursor (65) and GitHub (4.7). That’s about 95 times faster than GitHub.
It also handles 547 clones a second, the most any forge has published.
Live on Coline Upstream and upstream[dot]codes, on all plans.
Upstream Rapid takes 1,793 (sorry guys but the number keeps going up!).
We wrote up how it works, from when you run git push to the save. Link below.
We might have announced Upstream Rapid a bit too early.
When we launched it, Rapid did ~444 pushes a second on Entire’s benchmark. It now does over 1300, ahead of Entire (418), Cursor (65) and GitHub (4.7). That’s about 280 times faster than GitHub.

I don’t think you understand how fast Upstream Rapid is.
Let me explain.

GPT-6.1 Terra is now in Kairo.
It’s faster than 6.1 Sol and uses fewer credits. It’s good with screenshots and documents, working across your apps, and writing. Sol is still the better choice for hard coding and deep research.
Switch to it from the model menu in any Kairo chat.
Introducing upstream.codes, a modern Git forge made for agents and humans.
GitHub, but faster, more reliable, and built around how agents work. It’s free for public and private repos, and open to everyone today in alpha.
More below.
You don’t have to leave GitHub to try Upstream. Sync a repo from GitHub and Upstream will mirror it. When you’re ready to switch, you can flip the sync so Upstream is canonical, or fully move to Upstream and disconnect GitHub.
There's so much more, like Kairo Review, free spam triage for OSS, a GitHub compatible API (with much higher rate limits), and pushing without an account. It’s in alpha, so tell us what’s slow or broken.

Introducing Coline 0.7.
Kairo now has Crews. Crews can take on jobs for you or your team, like chasing replies, fixing bugs in your codebase proactively, and so much more. They can also use their own computers in the cloud to do anything a human can on a computer.
More below.
Coline Upstream is now much, much faster. Pushes finish in about half a second, and swarms of agents can push together without waiting in line. Change requests now show every diff with no size limits. Kairo Review can now read more of the repo at once with better context management. There are also new public APIs in alpha.
There’s a lot more in 0.7 than we could fit here. Read the full changelog:
