What is DIEM?
DIEM is Venice's token for AI inference.
Stake it in your Venice account and each DIEM becomes a dollar of recurring daily AI credits.
Here's a walkthrough:

They just made Muse Wonder available on Venice.
We made it available on Carpe Diem.
Same model.
Same anonymity.
Way lower price.
No KYC. No account. No logs.
While others watch, the smart ones are already running agents on it.
Muse Wonder is now live on Venice.
@AIatMeta’s frontier reasoning model for complex agentic work, personal and professional. It plans, delegates to sub-agents and calls tools in parallel.

Carpe or Surplus?
Wrong question.
Market puts your $DIEM on both markets at once. Carpe pays DIEM. Surplus pays USDC.
One position, two buyers.
Stop choosing. Start collecting.

The others say no.
This one doesn’t.

We’ve been sending Ferraris to the grocery store for two years.
Every micro-decision an agent makes — is this ticket urgent, billing or engineering, is that shell command dangerous, does this retrieved passage actually answer the question — got shipped to a general-purpose LLM. The model wrote. The app parsed. You retried when the JSON was wrong. Slow. Expensive. Absurd for a decision with five possible answers.
On September 15, TypeSafe shipped Jev.
It is not a chatbot. It writes nothing. No paragraph, no code, no apology. Unstructured state in. Typed decision plus probabilities out. 70 to 500 ms. Output is free.
Three primitives. That’s the whole language:
→ Choice: one option from the list you declare (up to 255)
→ Score: a rating on the scale you define
→ Noul: yes/no as a probability
You keep the thresholds. Your code decides whether 91% routes automatically and whether 52/48 gets escalated. Jev judges meaning. You own the consequences.
The marketing says “zero hallucinations.” True in a narrow sense: it cannot leave the schema. It can still pick the wrong option among the allowed ones. Type safety is not infallibility.
Where it actually changes the economics: the thousands of narrow judgments software makes all day. Triage. Agent guardrails. Model routing. RAG checks. Moderation. Not for writing. Not for multi-step dependent reasoning. For evaluating known paths, in parallel, at a cost an invoice barely notices.
LLMs generate language when the answer space is open.
Jev evaluates known paths when the answer space is bounded.
Jev is on Carpe Diem — still cheaper than anywhere else. And still anonymous.
Carpe Diem.

Same model.
Different bill.
Inference prices move with demand — when utilization dips, list price stops being the real price.
Who still treats the sticker as gospel?

From today, Carpe Diem is reducing the share of fees paid to it in order to increase the share going to providers.
We are therefore moving from a 60/40 split to an 80/20 split.
Further measures are planned to increase the returns for DIEM providers.

We have surpassed 8 billion tokens processed.
A drop in the ocean for @AskVenice, but a new milestone for us.
Thank you to our users and providers who have made this milestone possible.
