On this day 18 years ago, Satoshi Nakamoto published one of the most important papers in financial history
Amidst the 2008 financial crisis, people were struggling and looking for a way out of the failing TradFi system
Satoshi Nakamoto proposed the solution:
He released the Bitcoin whitepaper “Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System.”
He wanted to create a financial system where people could lend each other money without the banks
A few months later the first Bitcoin block was mined
From there Bitcoin reached new milestone after new milestone
In 2009, 1 Bitcoin was less than $0.001
In 2013, Bitcoin hit $1,000
In 2017, it reached a new high of $20,000
From there Bitcoin has continued climbing and in 2025 hit $126,000 with mass adoption of the people even being recognized by the president of the United States
Right now Bitcoin is trading at $77,000, and has a market cap of a whopping $1.56T
There's no telling how much more crazy this system will get, but the future's looking bright
Polymarket users have been getting their wallets drained all day today
Over $2M has been stolen just today
This is what we know of the attacker so far:
Earlier today, a random empty wallet started gaining new funds
These funds started out in small chunks of a couple thousand dollars
Within 30 minutes the wallet was already at half a million
A little after an hour the wallet peaked with $2.68M
Here's the wallet if you wanna see for yourself
0x3F99139F1C5854bb628c2e576Aaf638e99dFfc18
Users have been reporting withdrawals they never took, and there are rumors Polymarket's frontend was compromised
A similar event happened in June where $2.94M was stolen from 11 different wallets, luckily Polymarket reimbursed the victims
Hopefully Polymarket recovers similarly here
If you currently have anything on Polymarket make sure you're being extra cautious during this time
Hopefully we get more security updates as things progress
Stay safe out there
Polymarket.com: The exchange is currently in cancel-only mode and relayer actions paused while we investigate an incident.
We're aware of an outage and are looking into it.

One of the biggest grifters in crypto right now has recently been exposed and gone private
This girl posts a new screenshot everyday claiming to be making hundreds of thousands trading memecoins
Let's dive in deeper and look at the numbers
Trench Snitch is a software designed to help trace calls back to KOLs and she's associated with 15 different pump and dumps
Each one was called at around $10k market cap and currently are all around 95% down from ATHs
It's ridiculous that some people actually fall for this and copytrade
In September, she had claimed to make over $200,000 trading but we actually have her wallet to confirm this
387FRwow6MKDhSwuMULhKjqeXuxoBY4BbbaSntdk9LaH
Her current Solana balance is 8 SOL ($810)
Her pumpfun portfolio has $4,768
Her 1 Day PnL is only around $800
The numbers don't add up
Sure these pumpfun callout rewards are helpful to true creators and believers in the ecosystem
But they introduce a new easy way for KOLs to larp and make bank in the process encouraging others to do the same
Jason Calacanis just told his 1.8M followers they should be selling their Bitcoin
He believes it will crash to $57K in the next 12 months and never make a new ATH
But let's look at his previous calls before we put our faith in this
In November of 2024, he said Bitcoin would crash 50% in a year, but it also hit $124K first
In December of 2024, he said Bitcoin would crash 80% to $20K if MicroStrategy sells, and that never happened
In June of 2026, he said Michael Saylor will take it to $50K, and it ended up bottoming at $58K and recovering to $86K
In August of 2026, he said the bottom was in and Bitcoin shot 38% to $86K
In August of 2026 he also said to sell half of your Bitcoin for Bittensor TAO & Solana, and Bitcoin ended up going to $80K
In November of 2025, he said Tether should dump all of its Bitcoin holdings, and then Bitcoin proceeded to hit ATH
His new call needs Bitcoin at $80K rn to decrease 29% down to $57K
But with his history I'm not convinced yet that will happen
Don't sell all your positions just because someone or something told you to
Make your own thesis, and draw your own conclusions
A brutal year for Bitcoin is just getting started.
Give me three minutes to explain why you should dump it now.
Outflows from ETFs are signal and will continue.
We will test the 57k low again in the next 12 months.
Why?
Because there are far too many dynamic places to put your money that are creating MUCH more value.
Why put your resources into a dead network that offers nothing beyond a store of value?
What's the point of place the BTC be if Bitcoin's Ponzi-scheme nature has gone away!?!
The viral nature of bitcoin was it's power... if you didn't own you were MOCKED!
Now? Completely reasonable, heck, SMARTER, to ignore bitcoin and place other bets!
No one is trying to convince people to buy Bitcoin anymore... the memes and NFTs are gone.
No one is saying $ BTC can change the world, because it won't — and BECAUSE AI HAS!
Just sell and shift from Bitcoin to Super Intelligence because one provides little to no value, and the other provides unlimited upside for humanity.
This should be obvious to everyone right now.
Bitcoin will never break its all-time high again.
