It’s what happens when you have people that think comics are cool making the decisions.
They told you they were bringing fresh piss to your table, how can you still be complaining that they delivered on bringing the piss?
Replying to @comicaccuracy @Quality_JWC
You were told what it was from the very first announcement 3 years ago, how can you still be mad complaining when that's exactly what they delivered
I’M SCARED FOR JAMES GUNN.
IF YOU ACTUALLY VALUE HIS VISION FOR THE DCU OR LIKED ANY OF THE PLANS HE PRESENTED…I THINK YOU SHOULD BE TOO.

Anyone who has ever read any fantasy novel could tell you that magic powers are in fact not a detriment to character driven storytelling and that drawing a line in the sand between good "grounded" tv and something more epic or operatic is dumb
I need the person that said I don’t make the threads I promise to actually constantly remind me to make them
This season dealt with the emotions surrounding the loss of a baby and you’re watching Superman punch two Earths apart from the same show.
THAT is what makes Superhero stories (when told well) unique.
I think this is also genuinely the last time we hear this shit for the rest of the DCU💀
John Stewart's Oath:
In Brightest Day
In Darkest Night
I’ll embrace my fear…
I’ll do what’s right
I choose this ring,
I choose this fight…
In service to this lanterns light. #Lanterns
If Lanterns was in the MCU, John would’ve thought the oath was kind of corny before saying the exact words proudly at the end and people would’ve been mad that he thought they were corny at all and said it was disrespectful.

I would expect Green Lantern constructs in a Lanterns show just like how I would expect Super Skrulls in a Secret Invasion show
Yea because other BETTER comicbook shows are able to successfully explore their themes and incorporate the most basic elements of the characters stories and abilities into the narrative that elevates those themes.
