Exciting advocacy week for CHEER, which was awarded a planning grant for the ENOUGH initiative, a state-led, place-based strategy aimed at fighting childhood poverty. The words of encouragement from Governor Wes Moore and Harlem Children's Zone are well received #ENOUGHMaryland
Great teamwork with our Delegate @LCharkoudian in support of HB 527 that would provide a very modest gesture of gratitude to the residents and businesses along the route who have been harmed by the Purple Line construction.

So inspired by my visit this am w/ @communitycheer Long Branch Gardeners. Neighbors share space in their yards & community members garden together- growing fresh produce for their families. Also an opportunity for people to learn about how food & herbs are used across cultures.
