Writers DO write for the love of it.They create stories spend hours writing and share them FOR FREE so YOU can enjoy them.And this is how you treat them?You expect endless free content while acting lik leaving a kudos or a comment is some outrageous demand?The fucking entitlement

Fandom→community of fans Community→people interacting, sharing, discussing, creating, engaging. You cannot expect a community to thrive when you consume everything it produces but refuse to interact,offer feedback,show appreciation. That's not community. That's just consumption

"Why do authors care so much about kudos and comments?"How many times have YOU passed on a fic with few kudos/comments?How often do YOU use those to decide whether something is worth reading? Engagement matters when it benefits you,but authors are suddenly needy for wanting it

This whole AO3 disaster has really exposed how many people don't understand consent, don't care to understand it, and are somehow incredibly proud of that. What an embarrassing hill to die on.
