Omnipotence didn’t just change how people see Boruto and Kawaki. It completely changed the lives of several characters. Sarada. Momoshiki explicitly said that the ones immune to Omnipotence would suffer the most, and the story has quietly confirmed he wasn’t being poetic. Everyone else (Boruto, Sasuke, Himawari, Mitsuki, the village) is living inside a coherent, self-reinforcing false reality. Their pain is real, but it’s the pain of people who still believe their world makes sense. Sarada is the only one forced to live in two realities at once. She watched her father become a wanted criminal because he chose to trust her over the rewritten world. She spent three years publicly defending a “traitor,” taking threats, isolation, and social rejection while Sumire stayed quieter. She tried to hold onto Himawari, only to have her own friends pull Himawari away, turning the one person who was almost ready to believe into another casualty of the rewrite. She has to smile and play along around Eida (the source of the rewrite) while knowing the entire village would turn on her the moment they realised she was immune. Every time she tries to tell the truth, Omnipotence actively makes the listener more stubborn, so her words become evidence against her rather than for her. Boruto lost his life. Sasuke lost his place. Himawari lost her brother in her own mind. Mitsuki’s entire emotional foundation was rewritten. Those are brutal losses. But they are still losses within a reality that feels true to them. Sarada’s suffering is different. She never gets the comfort of believing the lie. She carries the correct memories, the correct grief, and the correct love in a world that treats those things as delusion. That is a slower, quieter, and in many ways heavier form of destruction than being framed or exiled. The story keeps showing her paying for the immunity that was supposed to be a gift. So if the question is who has suffered the most, the answer the narrative itself keeps pointing to is the girl who remembers everything and still can’t make anyone else believe her.
