What’s missing from a lot of the discourse I’m seeing is that Jonathan is Native American. He’s Comanche & Apache. His husband is Latino (unsure if he is also Amerindian).

Vile thing about western “democracy” that indigenous people are expected to sit quietly in the name of decorum as their rights are stripped away.
All power to Te Pāti Māori. Mana Motuhake.

While many are talking about losing hope or moving to other countries, Native people have survived under U.S. government leaders that wanted us dead since the very beginning. This is still Native land, and will always be Native land. We never had the luxury to stop fighting.
