Some news: I’m delighted to share that I’ve been approved for an O-1 (“extraordinary ability”) visa and an EB-2 National Interest Waiver. The O-1 asks you to prove recognition at the top of your field. The NIW asks you to prove that your work matters to the country, and that you’re the one to carry it forward. It took years of work, and a lot of people believing in me before there was paperwork to show for it. That’s the part I keep coming back to. Every door I’ve walked through, someone helped me. With the likes of @DeeplineCLI and @MonidHQ agent first services, logging in to an app now feels unusually cumbersome when I just want to get some data/enrichment from a service for whatever workflow. Account setup by humans was always a bottleneck, and it's been almost removed

So Stripe bought @OpenRouter for $7Bn, and Ramp on the same day bought router.com for their own router. Stripe is a big investor in Ramp, and these two seem like they are on a collision course over a long enough horizon but nevertheless great for the ecosystem

X as a distribution channel for @bot is starting to look like a pretty good investment after all

I'm still very bullish in general on the lab's hypergrowth. With all the advantages of open source and routing for cost optimization clearly so obvious to tech twitter but there is still millions of users who haven't a clue on how to maximize their set up whether personal or work

Building and audience is one thing, building an engaged community is another. Both serve different purposes but many confuse them for the same thing

There's almost an app for everything and a continuous explosion of more. However, most people & companies struggle to implement them. In businesses, this can be down to people being afraid of being replaced by software versus enabling the business to scale and saving their jobs.

Scientific, Executive, Product, Customer and personal advisory boards...any others that I'm missing? What other boards are built to support a person, an initiative or a business?

TBD on what happens with OpenAI but theres a whole load of startups/companies sitting on that tech depending on them for stability and longevity. Ripple effects coming in hot soon enough
