Blitz, Destiny, Reese & Rolo are available for adoption! These 4 girls were given up because of allergies and being too busy to care for them any longer. They’re a bit shy but with some work they will be more comfortable. We will adopt them out in pairs.
Good news for Liverpool. Here’s hoping other small but historically important places throughout NS can also get some assistance to stay open. cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scot…
Disappointed @nsgov forcing closure of a vital resource for seniors in Liverpool + removing much needed respite for caregivers. Just another blow for smaller communities in the province. cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scot…

I’m 54 years old and I’m gonna be completely honest and say there’s at least a solid hour of entertainment here for me if I entered this room right now.
Thank you @MPR @ClassicalMPR and @AmPubMedia for bringing @ChoirOfKingsCam Nine Lessons and Carols to the US each year! A tradition in our home to get up early and listen live every Christmas Eve morning.
Annual listening of @ChoirOfKingsCam Nine Lessons and Carols is complete. Another glorious service. Next year, if you’re so inclined, come over to Bluesky and join in the live “posting” community. #9LC
Nova Scotia, especially the South Shore, will be benefit greatly from these Nurse Practitioners. Thank you for choosing NS and I hope you find the support you need from the community and government to provide the care we so desperately need.

Curling has lost a legend. It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of one of the most exceptional figures in Canadian curling, Colleen Jones.
During her curling career, Colleen captured six national women's championships and two world championships. She also served as a curling coach, broadcaster and ambassador helping grow the sport across the country and the world.
Thank you, Colleen, for your enduring contribution to our sport. Every shot played. Every rink inspired. Every life you touched. You will be deeply missed and your legacy will forever endure on the ice and in our hearts.
Our thoughts are with Colleen's family, friends and the whole curling community.

I don’t miss much about living in Florida but I do miss the birds and appreciate the work local organizations and people from the community show up when public green spaces are threatened.
There are 44 Audubon chapters in Florida, which conduct community building conservation work from the Panhandle to the Keys. Meet seven of these @AudubonFL chapters that were recently awarded for their impactful work at the 2025 Audubon Assembly. bit.ly/4qSIgXX

Excellent conversations on the generation after Hurricane Katrina on The Assignment with @AudieCornish. So many lessons to apply to any disaster long after the media spotlight dims, and at the same time, hope.

Today’s lunch from @blueapron = Green Shakshuka with white Beans & Cila rep sauce. Very flavourful and super easy to make. I would make this again and play with a vegan version with a couple of substitutions and no egg/feta. 👍👍
Made the @blueapron Roasted Garlic & Basil Pesto Pasta today. Here it is cooking. Loved that the pasta came pre-cooked. Enjoyed the breadcrumb topping & brightness of the lemon.
Had a @blueapron dinner tonight: Smoked Gouda & Mushyoom Quiche with Honey l-Glazed Asparagus. Super easy to make. If I make again will add some extra seasonings and spinach.
Congratulations to Barbara Hannigan on this very prestigious award- making Nova Scotia proud! cbc.ca/news/entertainment/po…
The search is still on for Minnie. Lost in the #southloop but could have travelled a distance if scared or spooked. Please keep an eye out for this pup! (I don’t know the dog or owner, just feel bad for the lost pet/owner.)
