Yieldcoin is live with @chainlink CRE & CCIP, optimizing USDC across 12 Aave/Compound markets on 6 chains yield.contractlevel.com I designed, built, tested, formally verified, took through audit, launched, and operate it. I'm looking for work. Yieldcoin is open to opportunity.
Thank you @chainlink for awarding YieldCoin the grand prize in the Chromion hackathon! We all know the entire world is going to run on Chainlink, so this is a great honor, and (was) a personal life goal. Thank you @CyfrinUpdraft for the resources to learn invariant testing, formal verification, and the security first approach! Thank you @concero_io for inspiring the idea, Parent-Child architecture, and custom CCIP tx types! Thank you everyone for the support! YieldCoin development continues alongside researching a proposal for the vLEI hackathon, Contract Level Identity (name pending review): A Decentralized Fuzzy Extractor, to address the critical need for absolute sybil-resistance by consensus - an inherent requirement for onchain identity and compliance. Incredible. It's a great day to be a Solidity dev!
SOLAR: 100x FASTER SOLIDITY Solar is the future of Solidity and the EVM. It's >100x faster than Solc. It has faster bytecode than Solady with no assembly. Its bytecode is faster to interpret by the EVM. Solar fixes Stack Too Deep! foundryup forge --use solar Blog below.

depositing into compound (and aave) is currently paused yieldcoin's recovery explicitly handles situations like this - if the system automatically attempts to move funds into a paused protocol, the failed tx is saved in state and can be permissionlessly retried

this is happening at the same time yieldcoin's active strategy is persisting as aave v3 on avalanche, whilst delayed epoch settlement awaits timelock button clicking to advance state and allow rebalances to continue rebalance wouldnt be able to execute whilst aave is paused anyway net apy was recently 12%, now down at 9%
As a precautionary measure following the Binance incident, Aave markets have been temporarily frozen. All assets are safe, and all positions remain overcollateralized. We are closely monitoring the situation and will unfreeze markets as soon as feasible.

Yieldcoin's CRE workflow didn't account for timing mismatch between finalized state and finalized event, causing delayed settlement recovery is easy but will take a few days due to timelock msig setup 🤡🤡🤡 should've run through complete finalized withdraw cycle before handing off to the timelock this is why the system is only operating with my own money for now

rate for @Compound_xyz on @base spiked around last night's rebalance then tapered off to below 3% net apy this is acceptable every now and then but if it happens consistently, I'd investigate and reconfigure rebalance frequency because about 14 hours later, the active strategy was ranked 9/12 net apy back above 4% now and compound on base is 1/12 (this occurred naturally without a rebalance) yieldcoin's annualized return sitting at 5.27% after 12 days live in production

shout out to @Compound_xyz on @Optimism 2nd time yieldcoin has rebalanced into this strategy in the last week bridge time with @chainlink CCIP took 12 seconds: ccip.chain.link/msg/0x2af388…
when the net apy drops to 3.8% but the next yieldcoin rebalance is about to execute

yieldcoin generating a net of 7.68% (this is after the protocol takes its 1% fee) total value of $YIELD (CA:0xab83ba0bc3c4fee04fe4ad5df914f86f5f31c45d on @base @buildonbase) is up 0.11% since launching 8 days ago currently operating as private financial infrastructure
yieldcoin is live and has been for over a week, I just havent announced it yet. in that time it has earned 5% apy. that number would probably be higher but for the first 3 nights, rebalancing happened at 0:00UTC into aavev3 on eth for around 12-13% every night a whale would withdraw $133m around 23:30, then deposit again around 0:10. so rates would spike during the rebalance window and then drop sharply for the rest of the day the biggest design mistake made apparent by deployment was not having a dedicated role for setting ccip gas limits. this functionality is controlled by CONFIG_OPERATOR_ROLE, which also sets crosschain vaults - a much more security critical operation. next time, or in a future upgrade, I'd separate them so the vault setter is a timelock msig and gas limits is a secure eoa annoyingly after deploying to mainnet, the ai powered property workflow im building identified an optimization in the parent vault recovery, but it does not warrant an entire upgrade by itself

5 stages of contractlevel/skills/property-workflow

Now that Yieldcoin is basically done (launch sign off contingent on few operational items), I'm building an AI workflow for property identification and scaffolding invariant/fv suites based on the Contract Level approach. I'm using @chainlink's new CCIP Vault Adapter repo for documenting how I manually identify properties and as the initial candidate for this workflow. CCIP Vault Adapters are complementary to Yieldcoin and share a lot of similar concepts like crosschain recovery state. An interesting design decision that stood out so far is invalid source chain reverts in the CrossChainERC4626Adapter are caught in recovery state, whereas in Yieldcoin, they are rejected outright. Same for validating the token amounts. Crosschain operations in Yieldcoin are treated as protocol-level, with recovery advancing already-approved state transitions. Whereas the erc4626 adapter appears to treat them as per-user operations, with recovery returning funds to the original sender/refund address.

In CCIP Vault Adapters, when a ccip message is sent to CrossChainERC4626Adapter, the payload includes minimumOut. If this min amount out is not met, message processing reverts, and the ccip message is caught in recovery state, where the input tokens can be refunded

Yieldcoin doesnt implement erc4626 due to the crosschain nature of the strategy rebalancing itself, However Yieldcoin's 3rd party intents/claims were specifically designed to allow integration of something like CCIP adapters for crosschain intents/claims, ai treasury agents, etc
Introducing CCIP Vault Adapters — one-click cross-chain deposit infra for vault providers. Accept deposits from more than 80 chains while strategy and accounting stay on one chain, powered by CCIP. Already adopted by Aave, Lombard, Maple, and more 🧵👇

less centralized dependencies is good
Replying to @contractlevel
Reading rates from the official Aave API and from onchain state for Compound, instead of an aggregator, is the right call for a relay that moves funds on those numbers. One less dependency between the data and the allocation decision.

Comparing the DefiLlama response for base APY to the new Yieldcoin relay, which uses the official Aave API and calculates Compound using onchain state. these are the 12 supported strategies. aave v4 on eth is the current optimal
