Rangers' 3-0 Old Firm win on Sunday felt like an evolution from their performance in the 2-2 draw under Danny Rohl this March.
Despite changing managers between the two matches six months apart, there were similarities that felt important.
The win needs backing up on Sunday to substantiate real progress.
But there were signs here not only of a new spine to the team, but of a similar identity despite change in the dugout.
Martin to Rohl was the latest example of a big stylistic pivot mid-season, meaning squad building needs to catch up with a new manager's ideas. Are we seeing signs that Rangers have learned that lesson?

A memorable European night at Ibrox. Rangers beat Lyngby 2–0 in the first leg of the European Cup first round. Mark Hateley and Pieter Huistra on the scoresheet in front of 40,036. Rangers went on to win the tie 3–0 on aggregate.
