we wrote a research paper on differential pair routing using automated simulations with @copperheadhq
we used openems to analyze different pcb trace geometries and found up to 5.2ps of residual skew even with perfectly length-matched traces.

exactly headless eda is the future!
tscircuit (the company) has submitted 50 unique PCB designs to order over 2.5yrs, with a median cost of around $220 per order
Evaluating AI designs is expensive, it often takes hours of debugging to discover how the ai made a mistake (when it does). We encode new rules to make sure that future designs don’t have the mistake
Current DRC checks in KiCad are woefully inadequate for fully generated AI designs. The AI will never catch all the mistakes without a framework, the same way AI can’t generate 100k lines of code without running a typecheck. This is why we are a wholly unique MIT-licensed EDA kernel. We encode and force encoding of metadata that KiCad doesn’t support, and provide platform services (such as datasheet and supplier availability APIs) that are required for AI to output complex designs.
It’s open source, there is no lockin. There is no required GUI.
very interesting 👀
AI is pushing computing infrastructure to its limits. Our photonics can help.
Today, PsiQuantum is unveiling its industry-leading Optical Circuit Switch initiative with an 8×8 OCS demo built on the company’s low-loss silicon photonics platform—the same platform we’ve spent nearly a decade developing for quantum computing.

Since GPT-6 Astra launched on September 3, PCB fabs, AI tool makers, and independent engineers have run PCB design tests with it. We follow this topic closely, so we read and summarized all available reports. The boards are two to six layers, Freerouting often did the routing, and none of the reports says how much cleanup it took to get to a board you would send to fab. We also looked at the gigabit switch an engineer at @OpenAI posted this weekend.

made a tool for searching for PCB assy/fabs throughout the world: zackslab.com/atlas
if you're favorite pcb house isn't on here lmk :)
we forgot to attach the schematic lmao
our llm-free schematic engine at @copperheadhq mogs gpt6 astra ezpz :)

we need more such bug reports ;)
guys @copperheadhq your app wont connect to my repo if it is from a github organisation only personal repos connect
it's crazy how social media convinced us that 1,515 followers isn't a lot. imagine 1,515 people in real life showing up just to see what you're building!
just 3 months of @copperheadhq. kinda surreal when you think about it ✨
'twas fun. do join us on the next one!
