They’re background traction, not growth generated this week. Metrics I’m watching execution quality, slippage, and whether those risk controls hold when the trenches get ugly. @SelfMadebySP3ND : the biggest business pivot SelfMade explained its shift from GPUs and inference toward hardware gacha, citing pricing pressure and uncertain demand for compute. It also announced internal testing and posted further progress during the week. This is the most interesting strategic change to me. AI Agents are taking over every corner of crypto rn. From trading and DeFi to autonomous wallets, payments, and infrastructure. The space is evolving far beyond simple AI trading bots. What stands out is its approach to automated quant execution without giving up custody. C. Infrastructure | Powering the agent economy - @clawpumptech Building infrastructure for agentic finance, including agent wallets, MCP tools, token launches, and an agent marketplace. Robinhood's agentic trading initiative is also worth watching as traditional finance explores AI-driven execution. D. Privacy Layer | Private agent payments - @Shin_StAItion A private x402 payment facilitator on Solana. Enables optional shielded payments so agents can transact without fully exposing their activity on-chain. Looking at these projects, what interests me most is how differently they're approaching the same opportunity. Some prioritize custody and control. Others push for autonomy and execution. And some are building the infrastructure connecting everything. Ofc, it's still early, and there's a lot left to prove. I don't think the winners will necessarily be the ones with the smartest AI models. What matters more is whether they can balance autonomy, security, and real on-chain activity.
