Due to issues with the media landscape, resources, and fulfillment, CORRIDOR is on hiatus for the foreseeable future. As a "thank you" we want to share @MrTylerCrook's unused cover for our second volume.

One of my fave stories I've done (about an oddly haunted📼) is in this one⏩

I think best practice for a writer is to divorce ego from the process as much as possible. A problem with social media is that it rewards personality over all else. It wants everyone to believe they’re a celebrity. This diverts attention and discipline from where it belongs.
I just read @JAWMcCarthy's "Contrition (1998)" this morning. When I finished, I closed the book and verbally said, "Yep. They knocked that out of the park."
Really well done tale of the horrors we hide inside everyday and what would happen if we let them out.
Come to Rose City Comic Con to get copies of CORRIDOR and other horror stories!

I put together a remembrance piece on Peter Straub for @BookFilmGlobe.
I could never do proper justice to such a legend as Peter, but hopefully it introduces people (who may not be overly familiar with him) to his work, and to who he was as a person.

Ok this is going to be long and rambling but here goes. My father, Peter Straub, died on Sunday night. He was the fucking best, and here's why, with photos:
Sad news indeed.
We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of celebrated author (and Locus SF Foundation board member) Peter Straub.

May one bazillionth of the online attention focused on Rowling's transphobia be reoriented toward the healthcare fund needs of trans writer and elder Rachel Pollack.

with House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones coming back into conversation, I wrote about artistic depictions of rape, when it succeeds and fails, and tried to unpack the audience's complicated emotions and ideologies around sexual violence in TV/film
