BYU is far from a perfect institution, but in light of the very public sexual assaults at Cornell, I'm grateful for an Honor Code that prohibits drug and alcohol consumption.
So, funnily enough, Congress has the power of the purse. I already knew they didn’t teach civics out in San Francisco, but Nikita isn’t exactly providing evidence to the contrary
This tweet could have been written 100 years ago and nobody would've been able to tell the difference
Italians didn't "help build this country"
Like the Irish, they largely immigrated to already existing communities, where they leveraged ethnically organized crime and corruption to displace the heritage descendants of the earlier settlers
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Italian and Irish immigrants provided essential unskilled labor for constructing US railroads, canals, public works, subways and urban infrastructure during rapid national expansion from the 1880s-1920s, not primarily through organized crime in static communities.

I enjoyed the 4 team playoff inordinately, mostly because that was the era when I was a teenager growing to love CFB. I don't really love the 12 team format. Either make it small, or make it really big (24 teams). BYU is caught in the worst of both worlds with the current format
I follow like, 4-5 exmos on here who became Catholic or Anglican, and I think every last one of em' is super cool lol
Unequivocal stances against sports gambling. People can do what they want to do, but prophetic counsel against it would hopefully move the needle and maybe keep an LDS kid or two from destroying their life

Victor Wembanyama was asked if he would ever sign a deal with a sports betting company: “Absolutely not. Honestly, I think it’s very sad to see some players promote it.”
My wife, who famously HATES attending live sporting events, got us two tickets to see the Wizards at TD Garden for what I can assume will be AJ Dybantsa's NBA debut in Boston. I married a good one folks😭

Playing real fast and loose with “premier” here
.@SECWAR “To meet this critical need, we are partnering with a new crop of premier higher-ed institutions, including Louisiana State University (LSU), Liberty University, Tuskegee University, Mississippi State University, and Hillsdale College.
These schools have stepped forward to answer the call to duty and establish new “Corps of Cadets” in partnership with the War Department.
So, today—at my direction—we formally establish a program to assist these universities and colleges. It’s called America’s Corps of Cadets.
This flagship effort is central to our goal of increasing the number of patriotic leaders of character commissioning into the Joint Force.”
About crashed my bike this morning when he dropped an 11-2 team with a loss to Tulsa at the #11 seed
11-2 BYU last year, with 2 losses to the #4 team in the country and a great win over a Utah team that looked better than this years Oregon has managed to, is inferior to 11-2 OSU w/ a Tulsa loss AND a Utah loss? Give me a break. He literally has to be ragebaiting at this point

Grateful for @LehiCityPolice’s vigilance, and for the support that has been coming in regarding the security incident at Chabad’s office.
