Like a fellow once said "isn't that a hole in a boat"
WATCH: A suspected sailboat thief opens fire on police in Newport, Rhode Island, triggering a deadly shootout captured on bodycam footage.
Officers approached the 40-foot vessel after it was spotted anchored in Newport Harbor. The boat had been reported stolen from a New Jersey marina, and its name was scraped off the stern.
The suspect, 27-year-old Brendan Norris, fled below deck before a gunshot was heard from inside the cabin, striking an officer in the leg.
Police returned fire, and Norris was later shot and pronounced dead at the scene.

Kelly Day, a 32-year-old biological male who identifies as a transgender woman, has been charged with first-degree murder after stabbing 50-year-old Larry Young 13 times in the head, neck and shoulders during a confrontation over Day's gender identity in Chicago, Illinois.
The attack was so violent that the tip of the knife broke off and became lodged in Young's skull. The stabbing took place in front of Day's 7-year-old stepson.
Day told his wife that "bullies" should not get away with mocking his gender identity.
Following the stabbing, Day called 911 and claimed to have been injured while defending against a "pervert."
In a second emergency call, Day changed the account, claiming the injury had occurred while cooking.
I remember Fiona Apple back in the days and now jamming on her song Criminal have me thinking it's way more pleasant when the singer sells you that what's presented is not pentatonic. She made it look more complicated than it really is. That's talent

I am in Ottawa for some very serious meetings. Thankfully, there are enough free tampons in the men’s washroom to get me through the next few days.
Thank you Canadian taxpayers

An oldie but a goodie. In 1968 a bunch of entitled hippy bastards sent a letter detailing their specious demands to the Warden and Fellows of Wadham College, Oxford. This was their letter of reply, which speaks to how far the academy has since fallen.

He murdered one woman and assaulted another 15-year old girl, leaving her disabled for life. In combination with his Indigenous ancestry, this was a credential that trumped any other.
If you are surprised that a murder conviction would be a prestigious credential for an elite law school application, you don't understand today's progressivism.
Despite violating his parole conditions multiple times, including gathering phone numbers of women and hiding them from his overseers in a halfway house where he is permitted to live outside of prison while serving a life sentence, 120 McGill Law students signed a petition calling on the school to let him continue to study alongside them.
McGill’s law school receives roughly 1,500 applications for just 180 spots.
It gave one of those spots to a convicted murderer in his mid-60s, who will never pass the good character requirements to practice, and who violated his parole multiple times.

I’m proud to have lived long enough to see the discourse eventually come around to “refusing to have sex with someone can be rape”

You can’t make this up.
On the left, Bernard Sévigny, Quebec’s new agriculture minister and former mayor of Sherbrooke.
On the right, Marie-Claude Bibeau, former federal agriculture minister and now mayor of Sherbrooke.
Both are married to each other.
And don't forget, Bernard is a separatist. Not Marie-Claude.

Horrible. What happened?!
Officials have not released details about the cause of the fire, the number of people killed or injured, or the extent of damage to the base. McGuinty said he could not recall a similar incident during his time as defence minister or in recent memory.

It's wild that a government is actively working against its own people in employment. Canada unemployment is high. It should be the literal opposite of this.
