Body has a way of being amazing! Children’s appt today with neurologist with lateral X-rays. Body grew a bone spur on vertebrae injuries and has solidified for extra support. Follow ups are now on a as needed base! Unseen work from the man above @AEdgington #spinalinjurysurvior
Minus 26 days and will be trading in heels for basketball shoes! Senior HOCO 26 was a wrap last night and no better way than to spend it with the one that means the most to her…her Twinkie!! @AddisonEdgin00
30 days to go for the @CvilleTigersBB to be on the mission for a repeat season, with the only difference is a trip to the championship game! If you dream it , you can do it!
@AddisonEdgin00
Glad to say that yesterday’s angiogram follow up surgery/check up came back with a clean bill from the neurosurgeon! Stent has been doing to job ever since it was placed 2 1/2 years ago…everyday thankful for her being still here and doing things she loves to do @AddisonEdgin00

Who are you when it costs you something?
That’s the question this season kept asking us.
Not when you’re winning.
Not when everything is going your way.
But when the road is harder than you expected.
This group answered that question all summer.
We never measured this season by what was easiest to achieve. We measured it by what was hardest to become.
Our record is one we’re proud of.
But our standard was never the scoreboard.
Our standard was to put ourselves in games that demanded our best, exposed our weaknesses, and forced us to grow. Because growth has always cost something.
Our six Class of 2028 players didn’t just compete on one of the biggest stages in grassroots basketball—they led this team. They chose challenge over comfort and embraced every opportunity to compete against older, more experienced players. 🌱
Our three Class of 2027 players embodied something even rarer: sacrifice.
They stepped away from the comfort of the known to invest in something uncertain. There were no promises. No guarantees. Just a belief that choosing the harder road would be worth it.
That’s a rare kind of teammate.
More importantly, that’s a rare kind of person.
We didn’t sacrifice because we knew what the outcome would be. We sacrificed because we believed the process was worth it, regardless of the outcome.
I’m also continuing to pray for our seventh 2028, whose high school injury kept her from taking the floor this summer. She never stopped being part of this team, and we’re excited for the day she’s back doing what she loves. ❤️
Throughout the season, our devotionals kept leading us back to the same truth:
Healthy roots produce healthy fruit.
Roots grow where no one applauds. They grow through pressure. They grow through storms. They grow in the dark.
When the storms come, the roots determine what remains standing.
That’s what this season was really about.
Not building better basketball players.
Building young women who choose character over comfort, sacrifice over shortcuts, and purpose over praise.
Thank you to every parent who trusted us with your daughters.
Thank you to every assistant coach who poured your heart into this group.
Thank you to every coach, friend, and mentor who encouraged us, challenged us, and lifted us up throughout the season. Leadership can be lonely at times, and your words reminded us to keep our eyes on the mission.
Thank you to every college coach who invested your time evaluating these young women.
And thank you to @United_Phenom @clarksvillesol and @tnteampride for trusting us with the opportunity to work, compete, and represent your programs on one of the highest stages in grassroots basketball. We never took that responsibility lightly.
Years from now, no one will remember every score.
But the person you become because of what those games cost you… that stays with you forever.
I’m grateful for this group.
I’m grateful for this season.
And I’m grateful for what it cost us.

One last ride tomorrow morning and the travel ball book closes for @AddisonEdgin00!
It’s not from the lack of effort …it’s just sometimes that’s how the ball bounces…back at it in the morning!
Comfort wasn’t on the schedule. 🛋️📺
⏱️ 2OT.
⏱️ OT.
This stage is a privilege, not a promise. We don’t take for granted the opportunity to compete on one of the biggest stages in grassroots basketball. Our responsibility is to honor that opportunity with relentless effort, disciplined habits, and a willingness to be coached—every possession.
Every possession revealed something to coach, something to improve, and something we’ll carry with us long after this weekend.
To every college coach investing your time on these baselines, thank you. We don’t take that investment lightly, and we’ll continue to honor it by competing with purpose, toughness, and relentless effort every time we step on the floor.

9 years of travel basketball comes to an end in the next few days. This big hearted goofball will hit the courts with her teammates in the @3SSBCircuit final games this weekend! @AddisonEdgin00
Last ever travel basketball tournament loading this weekend in Rock Hill SC. Sat back last night while waiting ,reflecting on all the memories in this particular gym. Last of the last slowly creeping up #senioryear @AddisonEdgin00
This may not be for everyone, but Addison felt this song lyric was fitting for her! She had some big struggles/changes the past few years, and has had the strength to face them, and accepted them, and is able to move on from them! #lifejourney #innerstrength @AddisonEdgin00
👏👏 well said coach!!
People celebrate the fruit. They rarely ask about the roots.
This team has spent the summer growing roots.
While others chased easier schedules and social media moments, these girls continued to choose what they’ve always chosen…
The hard road.
17U @3SSBGCircuit isn’t for everyone. Every game is against a team capable of beating you. Every baseline is lined with college coaches. That’s exactly why we chose it.
After two stops, we’re headed to Rock Hill as the #2 seed from our pool—not because we looked for shortcuts, but because these young women embraced the process that most people avoid.
The world celebrates highlights.
We’re more interested in habits.
The world notices the tree.
We’re committed to growing the roots.
One more stop. 🌳🏀
