Can we just stop this practice of receiving a blessing with crossed arms in the communion line? When I received my First Eucharistic at the age of 9, I was taught about the real presence. As such, this sacrament is about Him, not me! If you just feel you need a blessing for any reason, we ALL receive one at the end of Mass. Just remain in your seat respectfully and pray, like I did until I was 9. βοΈπππ»β€οΈπΉ
After the 1st quarter: "Ladies & gentlemen, we welcome to Lambeau Field the 2026 World Series Champion Milwaukee Brewers!" And the players all came out of the tunnel! #GoBrewers #GoPackGo β at Green Bay, WI
And now, with 7 minutes left in the 2nd quarter, the Brewers players are settled in their Lambeau Field seats with custom cheeseheads. The crowd loves it! π§

The largest lay Catholic organization in the United States, with nearly 2 million members, the Knights of Columbus is named after Christopher Columbus, the Catholic explorer who discovered the Americas. The founders chose his name to highlight both their Catholic faith and their patriotism, showing that one could be a loyal American and a faithful Catholic at the same time.
We were married there a few decades ago. It was beautiful back then and though it's been a while, based on the pictures, it's even more so now. β€οΈπ
Happy 100th birthday, Dr. Robert H. Schuller!
Today marks 100 years since the birth of Dr. Schuller, who built our campus and shaped its extraordinary architecture. Starting from what we now know as the Arboretum at Christ Cathedral, his televised "Hour of Power" broadcasts reached millions, extending his ministry far beyond Garden Grove. That legacy laid the foundation for what is now Christ Cathedral and in 2012, with his blessing and support, it became the spiritual center of the Diocese of Orange.
We remain grateful for his vision and for entrusting us to carry it forward.
