New single 🎹 Beethoven’s Sonata No. 1 in F minor, Op. 2 – the storming Prestissimo finale.
From my album “If I ever become a great man…” – Beethoven & his teacher Neefe, out on 4th Dec on Evil Penguin Classic

Beethoven's Tempest Sonata, at Beethovenhaus Bonn 🎹
Playing this since I was a teenager — through Wigmore Hall and beyond. Do we ever really "finish" learning a piece? This time it felt especially tempestuous. 🌊

🎹 The Tempest 🎹
Congratulations to Cristian Sandrin for the thrilling piano recital featuring piano sonatas by Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert in no other than the emblematic Liberal Club in Whitehall, London👋👋👋
It is always a genuine pleasure to be witness to the performances of this talented, passionate and remarkable Romanian pianist. We are truly blessed to have you in London.
Thank you, Cristian, for this amazing evening enriching us with your music, while also making us reflect on the words of the great Bard:
"We are such stuff as dreams are made on and our little life is rounded with a sleep"
(William Shakespeare , The Tempest, IV, 1).

Lovely concert last night at the Holywell Music Room and thank you to @DailyInfoOxford for the lovely review
Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 22 in E-flat major, K.482 — here in my own version for piano & string quintet with @mozartplayers.
Looking forward to performing the full concerto in Milan on 25 May with the Bacau Symphony Orchestra for Serate Musicali at Sala Verdi. 🎹

You’ve probably heard this concerto with orchestra — but not like this.
Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23, K.488, in a chamber music setting.
Live from Kings Place with players from the London Mozart Players ensemble, performing my own transcription for piano quintet.
