Bitcoin showed incredible resilience after the biggest hack in crypto history.
This is what happens when an exchange pledges to cover all losses.
As if nothing happened.

Few exchanges fully reimburse users after hacks.
Binance has done it before and will keep doing so.
That's one reason it keeps growing.

Coinbase Premium hit a 4-year low.
The last time it was this low was in Nov 2022, right after the FTX collapse, when BTC bottomed.
Market sentiment is bearish enough to be bullish, imo.

Binance Hack, where are the coins right now?
Ethereum network.
The attacker drained about $3.70B from Binance 14, Binance 7 and a Binance hot wallet into one receiver address, then split it.
Tether and Circle moved fast. $2.20B of stablecoins ($1.38B USDT and $823M USDC) is frozen across three addresses, the red nodes.
Before the freeze landed the hacker sold about $435M USDT for ETH through 0x Protocol, 1inch, LiFi and Uniswap, the four swap hubs in the middle of the chart. Nothing has touched a centralized exchange, bridge or mixer.
Another $60M USDT is locked as Aave v3 collateral behind a 19.8K WETH loan.
What the hacker still controls. 462.6K ETH (about $1.04B) in 11 addresses, three of which hold 85% of it, plus roughly $0.40B in other tokens (XAUT, WBETH, ENA, RLUSD, USD1 and a long tail) that are being sold into DEX pools one wallet at a time.
On the Bitcoin network, all 18,270 BTC (about $1.42B) went from Binance cold wallet through one staging address into 19 fresh addresses, 17 of them hold exactly 1,000 BTC, and not one has moved since.

Binance hack.
We have seen$4.69 billion in outflows in the last three hours, on assets that we track.
Largest outflows:
- USDT (ERC20), $1.7 billion or 4.8% of USDT reserves.
- Bitcoin $1.46 billion or 2.7% of BTC reserves.
- USDC $0.8 billion or 19.9% of USDC reserves.
- ETH 0.5 billion or 6.9% of ETH reserves.
USDT and USDC funds have reportedly been frozen by Tether and Circle.
The exchange SAFU fund is about $1.2 billion, almost enought to cover BTC outflows for example.

The ETF engine has barely run this year. YTD net flows are near zero, yet BTC is down just 7%.
With little ETF demand and prices holding up, heavy selling by OG whales or miners seems unlikely. Those who wanted to sell have likely already sold.
I expect bullish momentum to return once midterm uncertainty fades and ETF inflows resume.

"Uptober" has dissapointed as:
- Spot demand continued to contract, while US investors remained mostly on the sidelines.
- Trader's took profits, while there's still gains to be realized.
- Overall conditions became less bullish (Bull Score Index down from 90 to 60).
Macro events to watch: Fed decision, US elections.
Key levels for Bitcoin: the 365-day moving average at $77,585, the trader realized price at $74,041 and the 200-day moving average at $73,028.

500k people follow Ki Young Ju's charts. Here’s how he actually reads them.
@ki_young_ju, founder of @cryptoquant_com , for Blockchain 100. Key takeaways:
1. A chart tells you what, never why
He left technical analysis because the price can’t explain itself, and real alpha is seeing what drives a decision before it reaches the chart.
2. Imagine seeing every bank transaction in the world
That’s how he described on-chain data to me. All of it is public, and reading it is the hard part.
3. Manipulation has a signature
A large deposit from a founder or market maker, then a price spike as they sell into it, and the price never recovers from there.
4. He grades analysts on three things
Whether they admit being wrong, whether they bring evidence, and what he calls a clown score, meaning attention-seeking posts versus actual insight.
5. A wrong call isn’t wrong data
He called the cycle over in 2025 and said so publicly when it didn’t play out, because the read can be wrong while the data still holds.
6. His next model reads words, not wallets
An LLM scores what top analysts are posting, so instead of only seeing what money did, you see what people believe.
7. He barely trades
Mostly hedges, and his own approach is spot and DCA, because that’s the best odds if you’re not calculating them yourself.
8. Have principles
Decide yours, live by them.
