Why The Approach of @Torchpaddotfun is Better?
1. It solves a real structural problem
Most EVM launchpads that use Uniswap v4 put creator fees inside a hook attached to one pool. This works at the beginning, but becomes fragile once a token gains traction. External parties can create a new pool without that hook, set slightly lower fees, and capture the routing.
As a result, both the creator and the launchpad lose a large portion of their fees. TORCH avoids this entirely by embedding the fee in the token contract itself.
2. More robust and durable
By placing the tax at the token level (and only on buys), Torch makes the fees much harder to circumvent. Instead of adding more complexity on top of hooks, they chose a simpler and more resilient design.
3. Better alignment of incentives
Creators keep earning longer.
Liquidity providers are encouraged to stick with the main pool (thanks to the standard 0.3% fee).
Holders are not taxed when selling.
The launchpad maintains a more stable revenue stream.
4. Less dependent on the weaknesses of v4 hooks
Uniswap v4 hooks are powerful, but they come with known limitations (easy bypasses, implementation risks, and complexity). Torch deliberately avoided relying on them for the most critical part (creator fees).
Most recent EVM launchpads adopted Uniswap v4 hooks without fully addressing the bypass problem. Torch identified the weakness and chose a different, more defensive architecture.

Let's talk about @Torchpaddotfun security.
Torch uses Turnkey (AWS Nitro secure enclaves) for key management.
Each account gets its own isolated wallets.
Private keys are generated inside the hardware enclave and never leave it.
Torch’s servers never see your private key (nor does the browser or Telegram).
Everyday trades under your auto-approve limit are signed automatically, but only through approved routers and into your own wallet, with an hourly cap.
Sensitive actions (withdrawals, large trades, key export, policy changes, launches, claims, etc.) always require your password.
The password cannot be reset → exporting your keys is your backup.
Security policies are enforced inside the enclave (not only in Torch’s code).

It does look like a hack on Binance. Appreciate the quick freeze from Tether (~$971m) and Circle (~$823m).
I don't manage Binance (.com) anymore, but as a shareholder, I expect all user funds will be fully covered.

How much more does $TORCH need to prove?
@Torchpaddotfun isn't just another launchpad. It's actively bringing builders, traders, and liquidity from other ecosystems into Robinhood Chain.
While others talk about growing RHC, the TORCH team is actually doing it.
A complete trading ecosystem, token launches, cross-chain infrastructure, and a platform designed to reward its users rather than extract value from them.
This is exactly the kind of project @RobinhoodCrypto and @vladtenev should be supporting.
If Robinhood Chain wants to compete with Solana and Base, it needs strong native projects that attract real users and generate real activity.
