I want to clarify what mental health professionals mean when we say that mental illness does not cause gun violence:
I need to stop relying on Wang et al 2005 for all of my treatment epidemiology claims. Anyone have a sense of where to go for more updated claims about the landscape in terms of tx delay/tx type? Most interested for mood and anxiety disorders, but mental health in general.

As my colleague @cschofieldphd put it regarding NTT faculty organizing at Skidmore, "I'm excited to join the rest of the Skidmore community to support their unionization, which will benefit our students, uphold our values, and benefit the College community as a whole."
Today, after months of organizing, approximately 170 non-tenure-track faculty members at Skidmore College announced in an open letter to the campus community they’re organizing their union with us! seiu200united.org/news/skidm…

Any folks have insight into why the journal Stigma and Health (which is an APA journal and has been around for 6yrs) still doesn't have an impact factor? Is that a thing journals can elect out of?

At the end of my career, I will not care at all what my h-index is or how many papers I published. However, I will care tremendously whether I was a good mentor and had a positive impact on the lives of others.
I want to live those values every day from now until then.
Perinatal health researchers - any tips/tricks for how to recruit perinatal providers into research studies? Was hoping FB targeted ads would be more successful than it has been, and contacting training directors to ask to distribute over email has also been a very slow trickle.
This question has been surprisingly hard to answer with Google so to Twitter I go...
