I don’t understand the fuss about the Rams PI call. That level of contact gets called every game. Two hands touched a WR. That is where the game has been for this entire century.
College, and the Premier League, have a much better feel for appropriate levels of contact.
Can’t remember the last World Cup where a European/South American ref did not issue a questionable red card in the elimination rounds to a non-European/South American side.
Hart stumbles because Wemby puts two hands on him just as he starts to move. Clever play, but you have to wonder whether the push was also planned based on Wemby’s deity status.
It continues to shock me the lack of importance professionals place on ACL and UCL tears and the probability of negative results after.
WR didn’t fall right. Reese feels weird because it was unexpected and unsure of the role, but it’s a good pick. Don’t love a guard at 10, but the idea of positional value was dead there with the board that was left. DT or CB seem logical tonight based on the board.
My picks for the long term are Delane and Tyson or Tate. I’ll take Styles or Downs if I hear that the defense will revolve around them. I think CB talent could be there top of 2nd too.

Giants drafted great 1-tech DTs. Lost Cofield, Joseph, Hankins, Tomlinson to max contracts. Landon Collins, Barkley, Kenny Phillips. Shockey and Engram. Pugh and Richburg. And even a slot WR like Wandale.
If u want to know why drafting non premium positions in the first round is just tough business. Look at the non premium position players drafted rd1 in 2021 and 2022 and how many just left or are leaving in FA. Even when u find a really good one like Linderbaum its a tough pill to swallow a huge contract at that position. Or even Lloyd at LB. U need an all pro caliber to even consider extending like Hamilton. Micah is a bit of an outlier considering he was drafted as an LB but became and ED in the NFL. This list is pretty ugly overall
