Simple worldview for peace + better decisions:
+We have near 0 agency over society
Bigger forces at play. Fun to speculate but idk what they are
+We have near 100% agency over ourselves
Understanding society’s direction gives leverage to optimize our place in it
I've been an early supporter of DMT, and am excited to see what TAP has planned...
However, after going deep down the Bitmap rabbit hole these past few weeks, I no longer think a separate indexer is needed for Bitmap and DMT assets. With the latest ord upgrades and LiveOCI, many DMT assets can now be done though only trusting Bitcoin and ord.
We're heads down building on this approach. We'll release a standard for public comment soon, followed by a launchpad for these native assets and a debut collection that will be a gift to Bitmap holders 🟧
Over the past few years, I've watched people across the Digital Matter community put years of effort into exploring these ideas on Bitcoin.
Different projects, different approaches, and a lot of work that most people never see.
I've always had a great deal of respect for that.
A big part of why we've built Digital Matter World is to give more of those ideas and communities a place to come together and build side by side.
Nobody needs to stop doing their own thing to be part of it.
Latam politics so fucking gangster
This is quite the story. Flavio Bolsonaro may have put his name on a decoy flight manifest from Brazil to the US, while in reality he was slipping into Argentina, from where he may now be en route to the US www1.folha.uol.com.br/poder/…

If your agent can't access your money, is it really your money?

A Sam’s Club employee says Pokémon scalpers have turned their store into absolute chaos, claiming grown men are camping out at the store SIX DAYS IN A ROW, swarming employees, following managers around the store, and even sneaking into staff-only areas to take pictures of Pokémon inventory
This may be why Sam's locations are reportedly switching to random drop times
What do you all think about this?

We're building an open 3D asset standard for Bitmap, with a debut drop under it in development.
It's all on-chain and open to every creator, and the goal is for it to be interoperable with every Bitmap world and game.
Before we finalize, we want to bounce it off as many Bitmap builders as we can.
Huge thanks to @blockamoto @boppleton @Switch_900 @BitmapCorp and @MrShiddy for the feedback so far 🙏 it's already shaping the spec
We'd especially value thoughts from @BitmapPlotz @JunglCorp @block9ine @alienbtcbloom @InscribedSpace @smolbmp @elevateddabber @six0Bitmap @btcreevolution @bitlodo @BitmapSunset and anyone else interested
