“mikasa is too obsessed w/ eren” just boils down to thinking she is arbitrarily attached to him. the viewer learns how their relationship came to be within the first couple episodes/chapters, with eren giving mikasa the warmth she had lost moments ago

throughout the series we are reminded of it’s importance to them over and over again. in mikasa’s case, it’s that suffering and cruelty can coexist with love and compassion, with eren as proof. i feel like i'm just repeating mikasa's core philosophy w/o adding more depth to it—
