The reality of being an esports manager today
As a player, one big tournament can change your career. A podium finish at a major event can open doors and bring multiple offers
As a manager, even with years of experience, successful projects, and a strong track record, finding your next opportunity can take months
Your work happens behind the scenes, and your impact isn't always as visible as the results on stage
With organisations restructuring, budgets tightening, and fewer opportunities available, this has become even harder
The challenge isn't always doing the job well. Sometimes, it's finding the right organisation willing to give you the opportunity
I'm sharing this not to complain, but to highlight a reality that doesn't get discussed enough in esports
I'm still actively looking for my next opportunity in esports, hoping to find the right project where I can contribute my experience and help build something meaningful
To everyone working behind the scenes and looking for their next opportunity: keep going. Your experience and hard work still matter, even when the right opportunity takes time to come
The people behind the players deserve opportunities too🤝
All regional events won this year, lets go for the 5/5 ✌️

I need help.
Hello everyone, this isn't easy for me.
My mom is in cancer treatment, which is paid for by the government. However, we cannot afford the dental treatment for my mother's teeth falling out due to everything. I've given my mom every penny I have, and the rest we cannot cover because my mom is in debt and the medical loan was rejected by the bank. I don't know what else to do, and after talking with some close friends in the community, I've decided to reach out here. It's not fun for me, and I feel disgusting, but I'd literally die for my mother.
The idea is as follows: Coming next weekend, 2/10–4/10, I'll be doing a subathon with a charity tournament on 3/10. The medical bill is €3,100, and any excess will be donated towards cancer research. There will be goals for the donation bar, the last one being me shaving my head. I need ideas for more goals and ideas for the tournament. Anything is appreciated.
Anyone who is interested in helping with organizing, and anyone who wishes to participate, can leave a comment below or send me a DM on Discord: knuten
I know this is by far a long shot, but I have nowhere else to turn. My mother means the world to me, and I'd literally do anything for her.
More updates regarding the subathon times and tournament start/rules/gimmicks, etc. will be rolled out throughout the coming week.
