One of my pet peeves is humans thinking they know better than nature. They meddel in things that nature would fix itself if given time. They transplant animals or plants that don't belong in an area or change entire landscapes to " fix" a problem that nature would fix itself.

Hard to express how grateful I am to have grown up when I did - to be a kid in the 80s and teenager in the 90s. I wouldn't trade places with a 20-year-old for all the money in the world. Not even to be 20 again.

Someone should remake Rent, but from a completely heteronormative conservative American perspective. Whitewash every character. Change the entire narrative. Make it into Americana folklore, and then congratulate ourselves for being creative while insisting it's just like the original.
