Chris can really spin it… arm side run FB up to 21+ horizontal from a sub 5' release height and a frisbee slider that he spins at 2500-2750 RPMS. There are two real pitches present in the FB/SL combo, and a developing CH.
Chris’s FB/SL remind me a lot of Conner Roberts, who pitched at UCSB and then grad transferred to us at SMC and started on the weekends.
Plenty of development upside left to tap into, but there are present outliers and some unique pitch profiles.

Drew Paxton is hitting .420 with 21 bags and a reverse strikeout to walk ratio. Getting on base at a 54% clip in a strong NorCal JC region. Pretty good!!
Also got to see Drew run around the OF yesterday and he has legitimate upside out there. Dude has instincts and can move.
