Thank you @iHeartRadio Alaska for having @FoodBankofAK on 'Discover with Lucy' to talk food insecurity in the 49th State and the fight against #hunger. With 94,000 Alaskans (1 in every 8 people) facing food insecurity, the need is great! tinyurl.com/4jvrej5y
“Let us not emphasize all on which we differ but all we have in common. Let us consider not what we fear separately but what we share together.”
- John F. Kennedy
Words of #wisdom we need today from one of the greats. #Leadership
We’ve a motley crew @FoodBankofAK , but combatting #hunger against such odds as we face on #theLastFrontier requires the highly scrappy mindset / ethic of #entrepreneurship that such a diverse team brings. Just what the #nonprofit sector needs. Happy belated #Halloween 🎃#Alaska
“The very essence of #leadership is ... a #vision you articulate clearly and forcefully on every occasion.
The uncommitted life, like Plato's unexamined life, is not worth living.” -Theodore M. Hesburgh
"Luck is the residue of design." From the great, adopted St. Louisan, Branch Rickey. #Leadership
"I do not believe in a fate that falls on [people] however they act; but I do believe in a fate that falls on them unless they act." -G.K. Chesterton #Leadership #Risk
Incredibly grateful for the time I got to spend on ‘sabbatical’ with this crew out in the elements on #theLastFrontier . Such a rejuvenating and #perspective - building experience preparing for the next professional chapter. #Alaska
“When you combine a culture of discipline with an ethic of #entrepreneurship, you get the magic alchemy of great performance.”

Mini @WTCSTL trade mission 🇮🇪🇫🇷🇦🇷 , @TheYieldLab /@WUSTLbusiness , & Novus Int. reunion on #TheLastFrontier with my friend, mentor, trade partner, & CEO Emeritus @ThadSimons! Great memories! Thank you #Anchorage @HotelCaptCook @resortalyeska for the hospitality and epic views!
Shoutout to @PasteMagazine on an excellent summary of a #leadership we need more than ever in @ansonmount's portrayal of Capt. Pike on who possesses a "boundless well of empathy that allows him to both respect and try to relate to [all]" @StarTrekOnPPlus

First time on the trail for the girls’ pup. Even if not the most ‘Alaskan’ canine companion, she held her own. 😎🐶 #AlaskaGirls #TheLastFrontier
