A resupply mission ran without a driver on the route. Gallatin's Navigator detected the need, built the load plan, and handed off to @KodiakRobotics autonomous trucks in under 90 seconds. Soldiers monitored from a safe distance. The planning layer exists. The execution layer exists. What remains is scaling it to the units that need it.
Our win of the @DIU_x JSDT contract is a major step for us as we enter theater-level logistics.
As we just passed our two-year anniversary, we are now operating @GallatinAI Navigator at all three levels of war: tactical at combat training center rotations, operational with III Corps, and now strategic.
EXCLUSIVE: @GallatinAI secures DIU contract for critical contested logistics support, bringing AI-driven sustainment planning to US Army Europe and Africa.
Contested logistics has seen large-scale investment across new-age autonomous resupply platforms, heavy-lift cargo drones, unmanned surface vessels, and ground vehicles, but none of it solves the underlying planning problem of logisticians still scraping together spreadsheets to make critical resupply decisions.
Gallatin's Navigator software augments logisticians, enabling them to move at "machine speed," according to CEO Woody Glier, and builds on a trend the highest-level leaders in the U.S. Army have pushed: reducing the cognitive load of those in critical decision-making capacities.
Navigator builds on a structural shift in every priority theater. Aerial and naval drone warfare has made large-scale stockpiles increasingly vulnerable unless hardened, concealed, or dispersed. Navigator plans at the speed that dispersal demands, keeping the force supplied on the move. The software forecasts what units will need, flags shortfalls before they become problems, and recommends the supply and movement plans to fix them.
One critical point of need they are supporting is medical supply and casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) planning, an area of deep complexity. Medical supply means high perishability, temperature-controlled cold chains, biological timing, and wide swings in demand, with casualty operations arriving on no notice. Atoms Not Bits has heard from sources of blood moved in styrofoam coolers and field units short on sterile devices, and in most cases the failure began weeks earlier, when the shortfall went unseen. Glier says medical is what he gets asked about most. The goal, as he describes it, is predictive consumption wherever a force is deployed: what he calls "consumption level mapping," forecasting burn rates and lining up resupply against weather and transportation constraints, then recalculating the plan as they change.
Glier came from Scale AI, where the lesson was that frontier AI runs on domain expertise. Scale fought the talent wars for the doctors, coders, and PhDs who trained the models. Gallatin is doing the same with recently retired Army logisticians and medical supply experts, hired to teach Navigator how the job actually gets done. The winners, Glier says, understand the tradeoff between breadth and depth.
This DIU contract is critical for Gallatin AI as it enters theater-level logistics. In roughly a year, Navigator has operated across all three levels of warfare: tactical at combat training center rotations, operational with III Corps, and strategic with a theater army spanning two continents.
"We are excited to apply that capability to the challenges of theater-level sustainment, where decisions span entire campaigns and the bar for agentic decision support is highest," said Glier.
What an incredible time to be alive!
We built @GallatinAI Radio Agent less than a month ago during the @USARMYPIT XTech Hackathon.
Then we were invited and for the first time published our APIs as part of Right to Integrate // OP JAILBREAK out here in Ft. Carson, CO.
We integrated Navigator and Radio Agent with @PalantirTech Maven Smart System and @anduriltech Lattice: A radio call from any standard “green gear” or more advanced @PSWaveRelay MPU5 is processed and understood in realtime - a contact report of a unknown drone transmitted by a warfighter on the ground translates into a track in Lattice, fused in realtime either other signals.
Proud of our team and humbled to get to demo this today to the @SecArmy and the @USArmy CTO Alex Miller.
Onwards!
Ten days from invite to live demo. That’s the speed produced by @USArmy's Operation Jailbreak.
Today at Fort Carson, @SecArmy watched Gallatin Radio Agent turn a voice contact report into a drone icon on @Anduril Lattice and @PalantirTech Gaia. Live, through Navigator's open API.

At Ivy Mass, Anduril completed the final step in a year-long series of exercises that put the Next-Generation Command and Control (NGC2) capability in the hands of the warfighter.
The number of connected soldier devices grew from 13 to 2.5K. The number of Tactical Edge computers in the network grew from 67 to 130+. The network now connects 40 different software applications, 36 live data feeds, and 37 different types of sensors and effectors across nine hardware form factors.
New technology is only successful if those who need it can use it effectively. Without constant help from developers. At Ivy Mass, the @USArmy took over. Soldiers were in charge of setting up new equipment, updating software across all 2,500+ devices, and integrating new systems themselves.

Exclusive: @GallatinAI Wins First Place at @cerebral_valley's National Security Hackathon (by Army xTech)
El Segundo reigns supreme in SF. Gallatin AI took first place with an agentic radio agent built on @PalantirTech's Maven Smart System in 24 hours. The team of three: @danbuci (Co-Founder & CTO), Jake Siegel (AI Engineer), and Justin Oh (Software Engineer).
On the battlefield, radio waves can quickly become overloaded, leading to missed critical information. A Marine may only have a small radio and a battered field notebook, which makes capturing large volumes of information difficult and results in lackluster data reaching senior decision makers. Justin Oh experienced this friction firsthand as a former active-duty Marine Corps field artillery officer.
The agent receives radio traffic, turns it into a transcript, creates summaries for senior leaders, and directly actions enterprise Army systems such as updating Maven Smart System’s Gaia map and Gallatin’s Navigator Defense Logistics software. The agent supports capturing and understanding both tactical Green Gear as well as more advanced MANET radios such as the Persistent System’s MPU5.
Atoms Not Bits saw multiple successful live demos firsthand. In one final-pitch scenario, the agent updated an infantry unit's location on a map visualization based on what they radioed in. Another covered resupply.
@cerebral_valley’s 3rd annual National Security Hackathon was unique in that the U.S. Army put up the prize money. Problem sets included Sensor Analysis and Integration, Edge Deployments and Drone Operation, Mission Command and Control, Digital Defense and Cybersecurity, and General National Security. Over 100 teams participated, ranging from Stanford students to engineers at frontier AI labs. The event was hosted by @cerebral_valley and @ShieldCapVC.
@GallatinAI, Inc. has raised $15M+ led by @8vc. The day job is AI-powered logistics for the Department of War, which makes the resupply scenario the most natural bridge between this side project and the core business.
