A piece in which I touch on 20-some odd players I saw at @3SSBCircuit's Session I in Council Bluffs last week.

Chase Foster was my freshman of the night in CBB yesterday.
Moves like a pro at 6’9 and is incredibly versatile on both ends.
23 PTS, 6 REB, 3 STL, 2 BLK and 3 3PM against Rider. Set Pitt’s freshman debut scoring record.
$524
Breaking—Missouri guard CJ Gunn has been ruled ineligible by the SEC, Tigers coach Dennis Gates tells @CBSSports, due to Gunn receiving $524 for playing three games in the Canadian Elite Basketball League in May. By letter of the SEC's rule, Gunn is ineligible to compete.Thread🧵
Maybe suboptimal for a team paying Austin Reaves 25% of the cap but thru just seven games, Luka’s:
- Lowest apg since rookie year
- worst TO% and TO/g of career
- highest usage of career (39.9% - would be 3rd all time)
- career high 3PAr and 3s/g at 13.5
And a batshit 67.3% TS

.@the_andrey_x and I were charged with assault, along with five other offenses. After being kept up all night and interrogated for seven hours, we finally saw a judge. He watched the footage and concluded it was clearly a one-sided attack and that we were the victims. His response was to ban us from the West Bank for two months, let the police keep my phone, and bring no charges against the settlers he had just watched attack us.
Hi, I'm free.
Beat up but fine. Police stole my phone. Settlers punched me in the face several times, likely broke @AdeleShoko's wrist and gave @the_andrey_x a concussion. They threatened to shoot us with an assault rifle over and over.
Will tell the full story later, but for now, I just want to be clear about what happened. We witnessed two settlers locking a military gate in Umm al-Khair, blocking the only way to more than twenty Palestinian communities: trapping families inside, preventing students from reaching school and workers from their jobs, blocking delivery of food and access to ambulances, etc.
It's a crime that the military has this ability at all--but last night, we discovered that random settler terrorists also have the key. We confronted them and began asking questions on camera, and they nearly murdered us for it. When the police finally arrived, they arrested Andrey and me and charged us with assault.
The gate is still locked.

Yesterday, I received a security notification from Apple warning me that my iPhone had been targeted by a sophisticated mercenary spyware attack, involving technology of the kind developed by companies such as NSO Group, the Israeli firm behind the notorious Pegasus spyware.
Perhaps the most alarming aspect of Apple’s warning was its confirmation that such attacks target specific individuals “because of who you are or what you do.”
This is not the first time I have been targeted by spyware. I was previously targeted with Pegasus in both 2017 and 2021.
I do not yet know who is behind this latest attack, or whether it is connected to my investigative documentary, The Trap, which I directed and co-produced. The film, available on Al Jazeera 360, exposed the details of the September 2024 pager explosions in Lebanon.
What is certain, however, is that the targeting of journalists with sophisticated spyware poses a grave threat to press freedom, the confidentiality of journalistic sources, and the very foundations of independent investigative journalism.
