On Wednesday, I found out that I was laid off from Concord, alongside many of my incredibly talented colleagues and friends.
I'm also always happy to chat, catch up, or just eat two hot dogs near each other in silence. All the love in the world to everyone affected by the layoffs. There are a lot of really good people looking for work right now, and any help getting the word out means a lot.

the Emperor X going viral on tiktok thing is almost as fun as the Roar going viral on tiktok thing from a few years back. 2010's diy pop was really operating on a different level.
I live next to an Adult Day Health Care Center that used to be a streetwear brand office / warehouse, which is cool because sometimes when I walk by, a nice pair of older men will be playing ping pong on a hypebeast branded ping pong table and it makes me smile
this may be too niche to go anywhere, but last night two members of Haruomi Hosono’s backing band played “Talking” from Watering a Flower with added lyrics i had never heard, which sent me down a rabbit hole to figure out if they were actually covering the Vampire Weekend song
turns out, sorta!?!! apparently in 2025, they DID do a version of 2021, and since then he's written some new lyrics and the version last night is an evolved version of that?!!
