“Being left-wing can create a little problems sometimes in the United States, but I would have fun with it! There’s nothing like being at a dinner party in Beverly Hills with fancy guests and telling them you’re a socialist.” Rest in Peace, Patrick Stewart ✊

One of the happiest memories of my life. This is the vehicle in which I travelled to The Donbass in 2022. These guys were the best of people to travel with. If you don’t know of The Donbass and what the fascist regime in Kiev has been doing to the people there since 2014, you know NOTHING about the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

SCOOP: Nadia Beller, the Bolivian whistleblower who survived an assassination attempt ordered by Trump associate and political operative Fernando Cerimedo, tells me authorities are seeking to arrest her as soon as Friday. According to sources within the Bolivian government and police, the case will argue that her (brave) testimony against Cerimedo’s crimes—which range from U.S. backed election interference to drug trafficking—is evidence she had prior knowledge and failed to report. Beller, a lawyer herself, cites multiple legal grounds for immunity and says this is an obvious attempt to silence her for exposing a corruption network spanning from Washington DC to Bolivia, Brazil, Argentina, and beyond. Beller’s whistleblowing prompted investigations in Argentina and Chile, including a congressional commission probing Cerimedo. The Bolivian attorney general who arrested and charged Cerimedo with femicide for the attack on Beller was sanctioned by the U.S. and later detained by Bolivian authorities. Beller says she fears for her life and the life of her unborn child, which Cerimedo allegedly fathered. She is calling on the international community to support her in the face of political lawfare, attempted femicide, and state repression. Please share far and wide.

Bolsonaro literally fled on a narco-traffickers plane 🥲 Between the pardon for Juan Orlando Hernandez in Honduras, refuge for Flávio from Brazil, and the close alliance with Ecuador’s Noboa, the Trump admin is proving itself to be the true ally of narco-terror in the region.

So now Lula (80), "the great survivor", as won four elections and "makes history" (well done, Lula). But Daniel Ortega (80), who has won four elections in Nicaragua, is a "dictator". How so? economist.com/the-americas/2…

BREAKING 🇧🇷 The Supreme Court of Brazil has recognized Bolsonaro’s widespread effort to suppress the popular vote by shutting down public transit – and extended the vote by 2 hours. But scores of stations have already closed – and cannot now reopen to the public.

A new book alleges that Dutch intelligence hacked Jared Kushner's phone and watched him access a Dubai bank account holding hundreds of millions of dollars that came from a bank in Azerbaijan. The claim comes from an excerpt of Princes and Thieves, a book by investigative journalist Matthew Cole about Kushner and UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed. Cole says a source he considered reliable told him in spring 2020 that Kushner appeared to transfer large sums from the account to other people, including a warlord, a mercenary and a former hit man. The excerpt's headline says the transfers totaled more than $700 million and that the bank accounts linked Trump's son-in-law and former senior adviser to Israel, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Latin America’s shift toward the Donroe Doctrine’s right-wing authoritarianism is on full display in Ecuador. Under Washington-backed President Daniel Noboa, leftist opposition leader Luisa González was barred from running and is now imprisoned under dubious, politically motivated charges. Amid growing anger over austerity and repression, Noboa’s government appears to turn toward dictatorship, weaponizing the justice system against political opponents. The U.S. constantly rails against left-wing “dictatorships” while aiding in their creation under their chosen vassals.

TODAY—Noboa’s administration has arrested his former presidential opponent, Luisa González. She is the fifth member of Revolución Ciudadana jailed. Other imprisoned opposition figures, including the nation’s former Vice President, bear signs of torture and starvation. Luisa’s supporters gathered this morning to denounce her arrest, chanting “Down with the dictatorship.” Former Colombian President Gustavo Petro also condemned it as a dictatorship. Luisa’s party, Noboa’s largest opposition force, has been banned from elections. Guillaume Long, senior diplomatic adviser to the Hague Group and a former Ecuadorian foreign minister, told me for Drop Site that the arrest is “an exercise in intimidation” and a bid to tilt the upcoming local elections in favor of Noboa’s party, which he says had poor prospects before. “Every time a leader is arrested… paraded in high security jails in orange jumpsuits and with shaved heads, this sends a chilling effect in the ranks of the political opposition,” Long added. The November vote is critical to consolidating the U.S.-backed regime’s grip on power as joint ground operations with U.S. Southern Command, the first of their kind in the region, continue to escalate.

Fernando Cerimedo orchestrated every major victory for Trump in Latin America over the past 2 years His mentor was Israeli foreign agent Brad Parscale Now that his plots are being exposed, the horrors of the Donroe Doctine are on full display
New audio leaks expose Trump's Latin America fixer Fernando Cerimedo pushing martial law against Bolivia's indigenous protests, getting top US diplomat removed As Trump's de facto regional bagman, and a partner of Israeli foreign agent Brad Parscale, Cerimedo has advised right-wing presidential candidates from Argentina to Honduras to Bolivia to Peru. In the last two years, every single one of his clients won their elections. But this August Cerimedo was arrested following allegations he oversaw the attempted murder of his former partner, Nadia Beler. Beler has since made public a series of private chats and audio recordings attributed to Cerimedo which expose how elections won by politicians aligned with Donald Trump across Latin America. The leaked exchanges also reveal the influence of foreign interests from Washington to Tel Aviv over governments in the region. In one of the most shocking recordings, Cerimedo claims to have personally intervened in the replacement of a U.S. ambassador to Bolivia. But what is even more revealing is that he claims the replacement ambassador was part of his own MAGA political circle. Written and produced by Oscar Leon w/ Max Blumenthal

CIA document from 1952 outlines how they embarked on programme to promote right-wing Christian currents to clamp down on what was later called "liberation theology" in Latin America. "The present rather weak and uncoordinated efforts of religious groups to combat Communism should be vigorously reinforced," the CIA noted. "Tremendous advantages to the Western program would ensue if it were possible to persuade all religious groups to unite in a campaign attacking Communism because of the Godlessness inherent in the Marxist doctrine." It continued: "It is therefore vital, if covert activities are to be effective, that they are carefully concentrated where they can accomplish the most". At the time the CIA complained that "its assets as to personnel and covert mechanisms are not capable of covertly supporting many different and wide-spread activities" in Latin America. This soon changed - and support for ultra conservative Christian currents in Latin America continues to this day. One big victim of this operation has been Brazil, where conservative Evangelical and Pentecostal churches have been promoted relentlessly. They were, later, a key element of far-right president Jair Bolsonaro's base - and now his son. The CIA (and MI6) did exact same in West Asia using, in this case, ultra conservative Wahhabis and Salafis as a bulwark against secular nationalism, socialism and anti-imperialism. Nasser in Egypt was the biggest target of all after he nationalised the Suez Canal in 1956 and the resulting UK/France/Israel invasion failed.
