is this generational arb or am I missing something?
it’s so funny when people fud the celebrity meme traders
like the core argument is “they dump on followers”
bro just buy earlier than them 😭
i sent support request to @Bybit_Official team on Sept 8, and since then I got 13 “Sorry for the unexpected delay” messages, and 0 help
Any way someone from their team can be contacted here?
been using @bot for the past 2 weeks
and it's soo intuitive, like I don't use it for nothing hard, and it just works
everyone hates memecoin devs and bundlers rn
consensus is they're scammers by default
i think that's wrong. the memecoin market is actually getting mature, people just don't get how it works
here's how a coin actually moves:
dev launches
snipers and bots grab some supply
terminal traders on new pairs buy from dev + snipers
they sell to people who found it on discover pages, group chats, alerts
if it's good it hits fomo trending and less sophisticated money comes in
if it goes viral on X, even less sophisticated people buy once the mc feels "comfortable"
then CEXs
and if it's legendary and the team has money to keep running it, it survives multiple cycles
each layer buys from the layer before it
assuming the later buyers got lied to is lazy. every trade you take is a bet that someone buys your position after you. everyone is playing greater fool by default
new traders are usually the greater fool, but that's a pattern recognition and skill gap, not a scam
bundle != rug
onchain, anyone can bundle the coin you launched and dump on everybody. so every dev is stuck in a prisoner's dilemma
the only way out is signaling your intentions and repeatable behavior
bwa buys 5-10 sol and sells it. every time. people expect it
that's exactly why they buy his coins
and that's why he makes money
so no, the dev didn't scam you
you bought the top from someone who bought lower
that's just trading bro

on a serious note, $laptop was executed perfectly.
essentially, @hunterbiden and his team created a unique flywheel that monetizes people’s annoyance with trump.
first, who would they want as holders?
kraken, bitvavo, and bitpanda are european CEXes. europe is broadly anti-trump. the perfect target audience for something that lets people express opposition to him and his family, while potentially humiliating them.
second, who wouldn’t they want as holders?
the onchain launch was a disaster because it was supposed to look disastrous. that way, predatory opportunists(95% of ct) either lose money or stay away from the token altogether.
meanwhile, the cex charts start at a $1–2b valuation. to people discovering and buying it there, $laptop will look far better than $trump.
this was never a celebrity token. it was a protest token.
