Jono Drady, between Bedgerebong & Bogan Gate NSW in his Blazer TT crop. This season Jono planted 1,400ha of canola, mainly to CL varieties.
Jono also included 400ha of TT canola with the majority being Hyola Blazer TT.
“We have been growing Blazer TT on & off for a few seasons now but this season it was very evident that the Blazer TT had very low levels of Blackleg leaf lesions compared to the CL varieties.
We know we can rotate with Blazer TT to help break the blackleg cycle, even if the yield is slightly behind CL varieties,” Jono said. @PacificSeeds @AgingAgro @hurgl1 @danrollsroyce @schilgee @Ella201093 @FotiouMila @Mackenz47336391

🌽For Tactical AGA agronomist Wayne Firth, outstanding yield wasn’t the only area where @PacificSeeds PAC220IT impressed, the hybrid consistently produced good cob fill and grain content, delivering the starch levels dairy producers need from high-quality maize silage. pacificseeds.com.au/pac220it…

Huge levels of blackleg leaf lesions across the country this year with some popular genetics taking the brunt of the higher infection levels and increased costs of fungicide applications. 💡Time to see more rotations into different genetics and different varieties so that we can prolong all genetics available out in the industry. !!
⚠️ Consistent early rainfall has increased blackleg risk for canola⚠️
