Today I’m releasing a free app that has changed my coding workflows, and my entire relationship with my computer. It pairs your iPhone with a Pi agent on your computer, giving you access to anything you can do on your machine from anywhere. Try it: ok.lol

you need to be working on something so frontier that the models are still dumb

If you're new here: - Mon/Tuesdays are for new model releases from Ant/OpenAI. It's a race to overshadow the other's news - Wed is for Google. Nobody really cares, but they keep chugging along. Sometimes Zuck takes their day - While you sleep, a chinese model drops that actually marks a real advancement - Usually by Thurs/Friday some demo made in a few hours sends everyone into a frenzy til next week

Non-engineer is a problem category not a user cohort When it comes to your org making fluent use of a new technology, the best you can do for folks who don't know how to use a computer is to still leave them behind but with 𝒻𝒾𝓃𝑒𝓈𝓈𝑒

kimi k3 dropped and everyone's talking about the commodification of AI and China's open-weights strategy winning, yet moonshot (who trained it) is the ONLY provider of it on OpenRouter or anywhere else afaict

Love this. It's not what the whole post is about, but sending someone an entire AI chat transcript, especially without even adding your own thoughts, says either "I don't respect your time" or "I don't value my own time enough to realize I'm disrespecting you/yours"

Fable just refused to fix a linear gradient in my app after Sonnet tried and failed, citing "restrictions on reverse engineering or duplicating model outputs" Thanks @DavidSacks 👍

Technologies with political significance (AI, VPNs, file sharing...) must be engineered so that regimes seeking to restrict them have no path to do so. Blockchains got this part right. U.S. overreach is increasingly arbitrary and unprincipled. Let it devolve in a sandbox.
