Ron Baron understands
BREAKING: Ron Baron backs Elon Musk to put data centers in space.
“We need more power and Elon’s doing that.”
• Baron says America needs to build more chips at home and generate more electricity. “We need more power. Elon’s doing that.”
• By Baron’s estimate, China has roughly 3× the power capacity of the U.S. and adds about 300 gigawatts a year, compared with 20 in the U.S.
• Baron says Musk is targeting launches in 2027 and 2028 to bring solar-powered data centers into orbit.
• He expects data centers in space to be “significant in 2028” and “huge” a year or two later.
Today at #FutureCon San Diego: I'm leading the CISO panel at 4:15 PM PT with leaders from Papa, Microsoft, CinderLabs and Sophos, talking current threats and strategic defense. See you at Marriott Mission Valley! More at nxtrobotics dot com. #CISO
Kickoff means tens of thousands of phones on the same towers. Our NXTGuard feeds stay live because Teal Communications keeps them on the best-performing network. Thanks, Teal! #SecurityTech #Connectivity

Voters sided against data centers in 40 of 41 local ballot measures Tuesday. Rising opposition means more risk at sites, and more reason to build real community partnerships before breaking ground. Safe, secure, good-neighbor sites win trust.
Live NXT Robotics webinar: Tue, Dec 8, 9:00 AM PT. See how NXTFusion OS™ helps teams see everything, miss nothing and respond instantly. Attend live for a chance to win 1 of 3 Nespresso machines. Registration opens soon. #NXTFusionOS #Webinar

Demos are lit, dry and rehearsed. Real sites have glare, puddles and a cat at 3 AM.
Here's what NXTGuard does at 2 AM in the rain. The guard still makes the call.
Demo or deployment: which do you trust?

Opened the UC San Diego Contextual Robotics Institute conference with 10 years of NXT Robotics lessons. The big one: the robot was never the product. The outcome was. #Robotics #PhysicalAI
Grateful to join the Entrepreneurship in Robotics panel at the San Diego Robotics Forum today. Thanks to Henrik Christensen and Tim McConnell at UCSD's Contextual Robotics Institute for including NXT Robotics. 🤖 #SanDiegoRobotics #PhysicalAI
Specs are cute. Hours on patrol pay the bills 📊🤖
In NXTFusion OS™ every patrol and alert is timestamped. Proof, not promises.
What metric would you want from a robot guard?

Today I'm at UC San Diego for the San Diego Robotics Forum, and I'm excited to be here! 🤖
This year's theme is "Robotics: A Confluence of Mechanisms, Compute, and AI." It feels like robotics' smartphone moment, with better hardware, edge compute and AI all arriving at once.
This afternoon at 2:15 PM I'm joining the Entrepreneurship panel, chaired by T. McConnell, alongside Vignesh Ravikumar of Sierra Ventures and Dominique Meyer of LOOQ.
I'll share how NXT Robotics is putting NXTFusion OS™ to work in the physical world, and what it really takes to build a robotics company.
The day also features leaders from Qualcomm AI and Humanoid, faculty from the Contextual Robotics Institute, and a showcase of the latest work from UC San Diego labs.
📍 Atkinson Hall, UC San Diego🗓 Today, Nov 3, 8 AM to 4:30 PM🎟 Free, but registration is required

The crews go home at 6. The copper, switchgear and racks stay. NXTGuard UGV and NXTGuard Mobile patrol data center build sites all night, and NXTFusion OS™ turns every robot and camera into one live picture. Book a demo on the NXT Robotics website.
3 AM at a casino resort. The garage is quiet. NXTGuard Mobile isn't.
It patrols, spots what's out of place, and NXTFusion OS™ gets your team the alert in seconds.
See Everything. Miss Nothing. Respond Instantly. Book a demo on the NXT Robotics website.
