After a bitter defeat in Montenegro, on Saturday almost 1,000 fans flocked to Broadhurst Park to see if @FCUnitedMcr could turn the tide against a galvanized Fans United.
The first 45 minutes showed an intense battle between the two sides, with a beauty (and it’s an understatement…) by Matty Grivosti to open the score and virtually lead the game to penalties. In the second half, however, the Mancunians unleashed their full strength and put three more goals past Fans United goalkeeper Zoran Akovic in just 5 minutes.
Another appearance in the Final 4 for FC United of Manchester, as they look to claim their third title, but all kudos to Fans United and their incredible effort throughout the competition, they really did Montenegro proud!
⚽️ 15’ Grivosti (FC United of Manchester)
⚽️ 53’ Sithole (FC United of Manchester)
⚽️ 55’ Ennis (FC United of Manchester)
⚽️ 60’ Sithole (FC United of Manchester)
⚽️ 90’ Avedisovic (Fans United)
📊 In the day of his mate Adam Le Fondre’s second European debut, @CharlieEnnis31 scored an underrated banger, rivalling Grivosti’s strike in beauty and reaching his 10th European goal 🔟
