Republicans are so blinded by hate and bigotry that they can’t see that I literally run the best field campaign in the state every cycle. 70,000 doors and counting right now!
Excited to work with @RanjeevPuri as our next Speaker. We’re both proud kids of the American Dream 🇺🇸
While reading through personal financial disclosures, I saw that Sen. Darrin Camilleri has a second source of income. He’s a trainer for New American Leaders. Among the program’s alums are Democrats like state House Rep. Mai Xiong and state Sen. Stephanie Chang. @downi75
We beat you by a lot just like we will next Tuesday, Roger.
Either the Senate Dems missed the 5:00pm campaign finance filing deadline or @JocelynBenson’s website is still broken.
The people deserve to know.

Downriver is pivotal to regaining our trifecta in Lansing.
We’ve got to continue working hard this final week to turn out the vote for Jamie Churches and @darrincamilleri here in Trenton and across Downriver!

A lot to recap on Off The Record this week.
@Cappelletti7 makes his return to the show.
Sen. @darrincamilleri talks about the Michigan state Senate campaign map and the idea of a gas tax holiday. wkar.org/shows/record/episod…
📺 NEW AD!
I come from a family that knows hard work – Mom in the cafeteria, Dad on the line. And as a dad myself, I know that politics as usual isn’t working – for this generation or the next.
That’s why we need to create stronger schools, stop hazardous waste, pass working class tax cuts, and fix railroad crossings in our community. Our work isn’t finished, and neither am I.
I hope to earn your vote by November 3

Happy Maltese American Heritage Day! 🇺🇸 🇲🇹
This is the 10th year that we are officially recognizing the Maltese Community in Michigan. I’m proud to be the first state legislator of Maltese descent — joining the ranks of public servants like Justice Zahra and Sec. @PeteButtigieg as well as the many local elected officials at the city, county, and school board level.
My family’s journey to Detroit put us on the pathway to the American Dream. And I’m fighting every day in the state Capitol to make life more affordable for more of our families across the state

I almost never agree with former Rep. Pam Hornberger, but this morning in the @detroitnews she’s spot on. @Hertelforsenate has done the work and is on track to win re-election in one of our most competitive races for state senate.
We’re confident that Theresa Brooks, Carol Glanville, Sean Carlson, and Rebecca Amidon are also on their paths to victory.
Shanah Tovah to our Jewish neighbors across Michigan!
As we welcome the Jewish New Year, may this be a time of reflection, renewal, and hope.
Wishing everyone celebrating a healthy year filled with peace, joy, and time with family and loved ones.

How dare you, Congressman. My husband enlisted in the Army and put his life on the line for our country after losing his friend, Todd Ouida, in the towers on 9/11. This is a despicable lie to the people of Michigan about what that day means to me and my family, the sacrifices made, and the devastating impact of that attack on our country.
I have never, and would never, campaign with anyone who says something so reprehensible.
If you have any decency, you will immediately take down this false ad. The veterans and families who lost loved ones on 9/11 deserve better than your lies and self-serving political opportunism.
Shame on you.

Let’s just call it Lake Natalie so we know you’ll start protecting our Great Lakes.
Congrats to @WinnieBrinks, our next Lt. Governor! I’ve been proud to work alongside her in the State Senate as we’ve gotten great things done for our residents. I know as LG, she will continue to help us as we bring more positive change in 2027 when we keep the Senate and flip the House.
Jocelyn, Winnie, Abdul, Garlin, Eli. A ticket that represents Michigan well. Let’s go win!
Michigan, meet your next Lieutenant Governor, Senate Majority Leader @WinnieBrinks!
From West Michigan to every corner of our state, Winnie has spent her career showing up for people, solving problems, and delivering results. Winnie helped deliver free breakfast and lunch for every public school student in Michigan and led the Senate through a trifecta that delivered the largest working families tax cut in decades.
As Lieutenant Governor, Winnie will draw on her wealth of legislative knowledge to help implement our plans to lower costs and raise wages for Michigan families. She's the right partner to help lead Michigan forward and I’m proud to have her join me in the fight for a brighter, more affordable future.

To my residents, keep being you. Pray how you’ve always prayed. Keep providing for your families and showing up for your neighbors. We won’t let hate unravel this beautiful tapestry forged throughout generations, with countless hands, in the most noble of American traditions.

Thinking about our friends and neighbors in Dearborn as the city continues to be targeted by outside hate groups and right wing agitators.
If any crimes are committed tomorrow they must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Please don’t engage with any of these random people trying to cause problems. It’s literally what they want.

24 Democratic State Senate seats? It’s possible this year. We’re going on full offense so we can deliver a Michigan that our working families can afford.
As campaigns chair for the Michigan Senate Democrats, I’m so proud of our Democratic nominees in all 38 seats. They ran tremendous races to win their primary elections, and now we will position ourselves to win against our Republican opponents in November.
In races all over Michigan, Democrats vastly outvoted Republicans. The energy and enthusiasm is on our side because working families are fed up with policies that don’t address their needs. We need to build a Michigan we can afford.
Our candidates will be carrying that message alongside @JocelynBenson, @AbdulElSayed, @garlin, @EliNSavit, and our Congressional and State House nominees.
We need to keep 20 seats for a Democratic majority. I’m working to win even more in November and to flip the State House.
Congrats to all my future colleagues!
Let’s go win!
So proud of Congressman-Elect @DonavanMI13!!
